Article Another Year ahead...

I'm not quite sure why, but the year ahead feels a bit more daunting than usual (for some odd reason lol). I think It's more the prospect that I'm currently out of work this time around, and I think there's just a bit of general stress built up before It's even started! Usually disappears...hopefully lol.

How about everyone else? Do you have anything you want to accomplish next year? Anything to look forward to etc?

I am really looking forward to the birth of my son. For a long time, my husband and I have really wanted a boy to "complete" our family. We have two precious girls, but we were soooo excited to find out we are having a son, so I am excited to meet him.

I am also really nervous about going back to work after my baby is born. I haven't worked outside my home in 3 years, so I'm nervous about job hunting and whether or not I have the right skills to be considered "employable" in my field.

I'll be hitting 40 next year which I have mixed emotions about! I'm hoping that next year will be better than this one was.

The main thing is to put yourself out there as much as possible, try not to get down even if you apply for 4/5/6/7 jobs and don't here anything back, as hard as times have been and still are, there's always a job out there that's usually to the persons liking, hopefully! And congrats with your son!.
