Anthony Stewart Head, The Centaur in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters

I was just reading the credits for "Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters," and noticed that Anthony has inherited Pierce Brosnon's role of the centaur Chiron, who was the mentor to many of the heroes in Greek mythology. Who would have ever thought of casting him as the teacher and adviser to a super powered teenager?

I haven't seen it yet, but I bet he'll be downright dashing with a horse's ... body.

And there's some guy named Nathan Fillion in it, too.

I'm quite sure he'll be great in the role actually (though I haven't seen the first centaur) but he makes for a great sage!

I'm looking forward to seeing him in it, Bronsnen didn't work at all in that role.

I really hope they age up he movie a bit as well, I really enjoyed the first one, but there was a little bit to much goofyness

I had no idea he was even in the movie. It was one of those new release films I had virtually zero interest in seeing (I never saw the first one), but I read an excellent review of it in the local paper and now knowing that Giles is in it, I might give it a look.

So Tony Head is the new Centaur is he? He always struck me as Mr. Sensible in Buffy, guess they'll be no horsing about in the new role.

ASH was great in this, it's funny seeing him be the mentor to a teenage boy chosen for destiny, lol

But also Nathan Fillion had a Firefly reference, it was amazing and I cracked up laughing (I was alone sadly)

The movie was really good as well, they managed to movie on from the goofier first one, so I'm hoping they go the Harry Potter route and make more and get darker!
