Excuse me, but i hate Wesley. He must die in the upcoming seasons i am watching. HE MUST. Hopefully it will be very soon. I mean, what does he contribute to the show? He is a useless sidekick and only knows as much as Angel, and is therefor not needed.

Actually, he knows just as much as Giles does on Buffy, and where would Buffy be without Giles? Wesley has saved Angel before, and is just as part of the group as Cordelia, Gunn, and Fred.

I disagree. Angel has been there and done that for over two hundred years and has other sources. He could completely survive on his own if he had to.

Of course he could survive on his own, but Wesley has HELPED him survive, and Angel could possibly be dead if it weren't for him.

I won't spoil you since you're still on season two.

Honestly, no offense intended, but I don't think you're ready to make a final judgement on Wes or what he contributes to the show if you're only on season 2. Wesley's story doesn't really begin to take off until season 3 and season 4 and 5 are when Alexis really gets to shine.

Haha this thread has amused me greatly.

I used to dislike Cordy when I was a teen. I remember that I wasn't all that excited that she was going to be a main character in Angel.

But as I've gotten older, I like her more and more.

I didn't really liked her in the begining of season 1! She was so little miss princess, it got annoyed! Later I feel a lot with her and my mind changed! I felt sorry for her with Xander and when her father was taken into prison! But in the earlier times of BTVS and Angel I hated her unrealistic, (too)stupid and often senseless "jokes"!

Was there even a reason to have Cordelia in Angel apart from the female factor? She was useless at the start until Doyle gave his powers to her.

Loved Cordy on "Buffy." Didn't understand what was going on with her on "Angel." I think they lost a great opportunity to show that Cordelia, as she was, had many layers and could become a good and less selfish person without essentially having her brain replaced with that of a 35 year old and having that be the source of her transformation.

In "btvs," sure she was bitchy, but she was also feisty, smart, brave, and unpredictable. She couldn't have retained any of those characteristics while losing the bitca inside?
