Glutton for punishment
He's the one that I identified with the most. His struggle with being the 'normal' one of the group always fascinated me in how he dealt with it. I think he deserves a lot of props for being around all of these powerful people and not getting super jealous. If it were me, I'd be pissed that I could never have any powers. lol
He's flawed... and yes, they're all flawed, but throughout the series, Xander is the only person that's never killed a human being and I think he deserves some credit for that. Everyone else is praised as a hero, but they've each committed murder and never have answered for it. However, Xander is never really considered a hero. Even in season 7 when Willow comes home and Dawn lures him into bragging about saving the word with his mouth and it's just dismissed. That always pissed me off. I think for the situations he was in, he handled them the best he could and he never changed who he was.
