Any anime fans in the house?

I like Pokemon, Digimon and Dragon Ball Z. Also watched some of Vampire Knight and Fruits Basket. Watched Sailor Moon as a kid.

I watch all sorts of different anime. I'm currently watching Bleach on youtube. I've also watched or read the mangas of:

-Fruits Basket
-Full Metal Alchemist
-Ouran High Host Club
-Wolf's Rain
-Inuyasha
-Vampire Knight
-Death Note
-Loveless

And some others that I don't really remember.

It's fantastic! Very different to any other anime I've seen. If you fancy getting addicted to something, choose Death Note. I was a right junkie watching that 😉
 
Lucky Star, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Princess Resurrection, Karin/Chibi Vampire are the ones I'm relatively well-versed in.

I'm watching Ouran High School Host Club and Fruits Basket.

I'm waiting to begin Venus Versus Virus, and also Vampire Knight after working through the first eight manga volumes just to discover my library didn't have any more. And I'm eagerly waiting for Pop Pixie to be available in English.

I'm all into girly-fantasy-horror-comedy stuff. 😀

The Fruits Basket manga is so much better than the anime. You should read that. Is Ouran High School Host Club good? :)

It depends on the show. I watch both.
Ah, Firefly made me remember I, too, have seen .Hack//Legend of the Twilight and it is totally made of epic and win. Read the manga as well, one of my favorites. 🙂

I love Fruits Basket! It's the only manga I've fully read. I've read some Bleach, VK (which I think became ridiculous after a while. I hate Kaname.) and heard of lots of the others you've mentioned. Are any particularly good? Which one would you recommend I start with? Actually, which is the shortest? 😀

For pokemon, digimon and dbz, I like English dubs, because I was little, but now I'm perfectly happy watching stuff in Japanese with English subtitles.
 
Vampire Knight...I watched the anime and thought is was painfully boring. I also hated that Yuuki did nothing of use besides make herself a victim. Feminist rage! I don't hate it as much as I hate Twilight because I mostly thought VK was boring over all, and Twilight gets me going like nothing else.
Spikefan asked the best...I don't know. I love Fullmetal Alchemist and InuYasha pretty much equally. I know that FMA is objectively better, but to love a series, you have to take the good and bad parts. I've learned that long ago because of my status as a Joss Whedon fan.
 
Well I'm not a anime fan-fan (as in, you know, cosplay and all) but I really like Digimon, Card Captor Sakura, Nana, Paradise Kiss, Chobits, Fruits Basket, GTO!
 
I'm mostly into older anime, and I especially love ones produced by Nippon Animation the famous World Masterpiece Theater. My favorites are: Future Boy Conan, Little Women, The Trapp Family, Little Princess Sara, Daddy Long Legs and Lucy of the Southern Rainbow. To be honest all of them are perfect, though I do dislike when they change some details like in Heidi, they changed the fact that Peter was the one who broke Clara's wheelchair.

I think Fruits Basket. Ouran High, and Wolf's Rain are the shortest. You should read/watch Wolf's Rain. I think I may even do a re-watch of Wolf's Rain. I love it!!😀
 
I never gave anime a chance just because of how weird it's aways seemed to me. So last night after I read this thread I thought I'd give it a shot and watched the first 6 episodes of Death Note, and it was actually really good. Think I'm gonna be addicted to it for a while now 😛
 
I realize I keep posting, but I totally just remembered Precure. Any series of Precure. I love it, its like Bleach mixed with Sailor Moon mixed with pure win in cute outfits. What's not to love?
