Any interest in a RPG?

So, it's been suggested to try a RPG again on here. What the staff is thinking is something simple, a group set up that can sort of freestyle RPG in the chat. Would anyone be interested?

It's like group fanfic, where each person takes the role of a different character and posts the actions and dialogue of that character.

Well, if the chat RPG takes off, maybe you could consider a board one in the future? I'll hold off until then, though. Sorry, the chat just kinda scares me, lol. I have trouble following and paying attention. I'm afraid I'll go a little ADHD on everyone and keep them all back, lol.

I would love to! Would it be a case of first in best dressed for the character selection, or would we need to have try outs? I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but there are probably only a handful of characters that I would feel comfortable playing.

Also, with the chat thing, I guess the time difference would be a pain right? I've been going back and forth with a client in San Francisco and figured that 8am-10am (my time) is actually quite a good time for getting in contact with west coast America.

That would be cool I guess, but I'd rather have a board rpg as well. I have kids and it would be hard to chat and stay in character with my little monsters running around being crazy. With a board rpg I could play during naps, or snack time, or during the night.
