Any interest in a RPG?

I may be interested in giving something like this a go, although I'm not sure how it works as I've not done anything like it before. It just depends on the arranging and timing of it I guess with people in so many different time zones.
 
I would definitely be up for a board RPG again. I don't think I'd have the time to do a Chat one though. Well, it's not so much time, it's flexibility. Kind of like what Cait was saying. But I'd definitely like to help with/participate in a board RPG.

How would we decide who becomes what character? What will we do if everyone wants to be Buffy and nobody will be Amy? Will he have to have read all of season 8 or 9(if it's out, sorry I'm a little out of the loop)?

I agree with all these questions. Though I do think we're a multi-interested bunch. Not everyone will want to be Buffy and I'm sure we'll get an Amy :)
How we going with this one? I'm more then happy to be a minor character (or more) if no one else wants certain characters for the record.
 
OKAY! This is what I'm talking about. Roleplaying is actually kind of like, my life. It's what taught me my writing skills and I've done so many great ones to do with Harry Potter. I've done some Buffy ones playing Willow, Anya and Buffy but none of them really lasted.

I'd be good for a board or chat RPG, whichever. I would just LOVE to be a part of it. Can you feel my enthusiasum? I would love to know how you'd go about choosing who's who but...you know 😛 Just let me know.

ALSO...I think a board RPG would be better for time zones. 'Cause people could post at different times and whatever whereas in the chat some people couldn't participate due to the time difference and others wouldn't be online. 🙂 I say this out of concern for myself and my horrible New Zealand time zone.

I hope we can create all of our own characters. I assume they probably don't have one fleshed out yet (meaning they don't know either what all it include...maybe season 8? maybe season 9? Maybe pre-Buffy in SunnyD?) since this thread is just to see if they would even have enough of an interest.

Creating our own characters would be epic.

Then again... I love any ideas they have for roleplay already unless they involve being over eighteen (which, this being a family board, they wouldn't do) or disqualifying girls named LoveLoveLovix. :cute:
 
I agree we should ll make our own character and have a thread where we put our character bio and info and played by pics and stuff. It would be awesome!!😀

Oh yeah? That sounds great. I used to roleplay on Ning with my 'roleplay family'. We were closer than close, mostly RPing Harry Potter with characters we made up. Seriously, these characters were pretty awesome and I still write stories about them sometimes. I've always wanted to do Buffy RPs though. 🙂

That's awesome! You should starta roleplay on Sitemodel, then maybe we could roleplay together! I have a few accounts, one being from Harry Potter ad I think I'm gonna start a Tara account soon. I used to roleplay her on Myspace. It's alot of fun. She just make an account, like you would for yourself, except you use your characters info instead of your own.
 
Our own characters sounds cool, but some of us aren't the most imaginative people(I blame t.v.). I'd still like to play, but what if my character ends up being a 24 year old woman who spends her time working, and playing computer games? Or what if I end up being a vampire man who, thanks to a gypsy curse, happens to have a soul?

I'd be interested in an RPG, but the only RPing I've ever done is board based not chat or IM or twitter or anything like that. I do it on an HP RP forum mostly and it's pretty fun seeing the storylines people come up with 🙂

This site has a test called a Mary-Sue test. It basically asks you questions about your character to help you create one that isn't bland or boring. It can show what you shouldn't allow your character to do as well as preventing a too-powerful character:
