Any interest in an organized reread?

There are four library editions which each have around ten issues. I haven't read the trades but I think they each have like five issues? Someone correct me if i'm wrong!
 
I was going to say 10 sounds like a lot, but I guess the last time we did a re-read we did do 10 issues a week. (I think we were trying to get it done before the new season started.)

I think no matter how many we do, we should make it total of all the series, Angel: After the Fall, then Angel & Faith when that's done, and the one-shots, plus Buffy. And if people don't want to read all the series they don't have to.
 
I need to hurry up and finish Angel Season 5 but I'd be up for this. I would say starting with Angel: After the Fall and then onto Season 8 would make most sense in the timeline.
 
I have Season 8. If people decide to reread, I'll join. I am much more of a reader than a watcher, besides, reading can be done everywhere.

I always envisioned you as being watcher material. #disappointed. You're like that one vampire in season two that had to do all the reading for Angelus.

Oh noes, I didn't mean to disappoint you. (Ouch. Now I have "One More Try" stuck in my head.)


Talking about vampires reading stuff in S2, I think of Spike's "It reads like gibberish", to that vamp looking for Drusilla's cure. I can't remember reading for Angelus, is it the same guy?

Not sure if the same guy or not. The one I am thinking of gets burnt up by the judge for liking books too much.
I'm up for this! Can we start from the very beginning though? When I do a re-read I don't like jumping around seasons. And it's been a while since I read the early comics.
Also, I'm a voracious reader. I can read anywhere from 4-8 issues a day. But if you guys only want to do like 5 a week or whatever, that's cool too.
 
I'm in for the whole S8. I might stop the rereading in early S9 though.😀
 
If we're gonna do this, I'll read everything, even S9, which I didn't like. Maybe I'll like it this time around.

I think 5 issues/1 trade per week sounds perfect. 10 is probably too much for me. I already read too many comics to begin with. It would take a while to finish everything, but I think it would be worth it.
And also just wanted to add that I think adding After The Fall and Angel & Faith are great ideas, although now the question becomes, 'how much is too much?' I'm down to read every single Whedon comic ever, and I'm down to read the barebones essentials. I know I'm a very fairweather member of this forum, but just wanted to put my two cents in.

Wow! Amazon bought comixology?? It looks ALOT different than it used to.
 
lol years ago. But yeah, they took away in app purchasing which stinks. I'm hopeful it will come back because they've made some good changes recently like the ability to link your Amazon and Comixology accounts, etc.
 
Oh no! In-app purchasing was the greatest. That was, I think, it's biggest asset. Though now linking your Amazon account to Comixology is a benefit. But in-app purchasing made it all so seamless. I'll still probably buy from Dark Horse, but as I am not really buying anything else (and only partly buying the buff) it's not that big of a deal. One day I will hack your comixology account and just be in hog heaven reading everything you have there.
