Quick question, has L Word been cancelled in England, myself and a friend were talking about it today, and i realised i hadn't seen it on Tv in a while.
 
I don't think so, but the two seasons that were I think were shown last autumn and I guess they're just waiting to catch up on the third once it's finished.

I mean it was on Living and I just assumed that they'll buy the next season as well. Seems silly if they don't.
 
i think there starting to show it on living tv ( newseries) but i dont know coz i dont have it, just got seson 1 on dvd.....trying to get season 2 on e bay.

sorry about alice guys she is great.
 
Jenny is just plain irritating...my favourites were Dana and Lara! But I thought Bette was cool too, very strong and confident character.
 
I used to find Jenny super annoying but she's better in season 3 in my opinion. I completely love this show. I can't vote for a character... Dana used to be my favourite, she's still one of them but we haven't seen that much of her yet this season... My favourite everything is definitely Shane/Carmen, they are just so completely awesomely cute/gorgeous/hot together, mmhm.
I'm also loving Dana and Alice (although not wanting them back together, at least not now)... and Helena, gotta love her 🙂
 
I've grown rather fond of Jenny actually. Don't really know why, but I think it might be because she somewhat reminds me of a dear friend of mine, only not as out there.

Indeed this is a show worthy of obssessing about, and imo season 3 is the best things of the first season and the second combined and it's working. With one exception we need to see more Shane/Alice/Dana interactions, all those times at the Planet, they rock together.

Plus she's really pretty and has pretty stuff in her hair sometimes 🙂

But yeah, I know what you mean. Like I have been ranting about... they aren't a group of lesbian friends anymore "“ they are couples, all of them. Not so much in the last ep, cause of teh dinner, but still. In teh first eps even Alice and Helena worked as a couple even though they're only friends. The couples have different stories and sometimes they meet, but always in the same couples.. Not the awesome gang of friends we saw particularly in the first season...

I know Jenny can be pretty as well and that's never a bad thing, loved her dancing in the second ep for some reason, she just looked good. However I am glad that there's no more crying or Marina as in the first season, makes Jenny so much more fun. Oh and speaking of Bette is starting to annoy me instead, that woman is just far too judgemental for me to like her.
 
cant wait to see shane and carmen 🙂 from what iv heard, well bidding on ebay for season 2 coz dont have sky and they havent relsised seaon 2 on dvd in uk yet grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr 🙁
 
I don't watch the show... but a funny anecdote... this (female) friend of mine told me she doesn't care much about TV in general and the only thing she watches is this show.

About two months later, she came out of the closet... and the first thing I thought was: now I know why she likes the L Word ^_^... I'm a dorky TV addict like that.

I LOOOOOOVE Jenny so much... she's just like fascinating I think... like this circus thing and her weird state of mind are just like... i donno... like i said fascinating, lol... she inspired me to write a shitty story of a schizophrenic girl even... though I didnt intended it to be shitty.. oopsy, lol
Then Shane yeah definitely, she's just this super cool chick but she aint a bitch like some ppl would think just by looking at her.

I know what you mean. That's the thing I like best about Shane she seems to have the biggest heart ever and just takes care of people and comfort them and stand by them. Sure she's cool and all, but deep down she's just the sweetest of them all.

I mean "bitch" as in... some ppl would think with her look and her dating so many ppl that she is one... first impressions and i know ppl who would think that... but she's def not... she is just like you said Ape!!! :0
 
yeah, look at season 1 when that girl she was with, the one who kept putting up banners and leaflets, and shone the spot light on her in the club....youd take her for a bitch there but shane is so cool, look at her and cherry i think shes called ( married one...) she has alot of love
