Exactly, but that was the advertisements (which might have been insane, sounds like it, but I never saw it on TV), not the actual show. The girl who said what I quoted had actually been watching the show "“ which surprises me, 'cause I love the pilot, and the first scenes don't at all say "LOOK, lesbian sex scenes!", but actual lives of actual lesbians, heh..
Heh well you should watch it, especially season 1, it does actually rock, mhm. And I think that the fact that oh so insanely many lesbians watch this show is proof that it's not a "lesbian-sex show for men", heh 🙂
And I think that's a big reason why so many gay girls watch this show, and it's not a bad reason at all. I mean there are other shows about lesbians, but as you mentioned they're not as realistic etc., and the fact that the L Word is realistic (well, most parts of it), is what makes it good. It has also got interesting characters and drama though, but the reason they are interesting, is mostly 'cause it's realistic 🙂 So, yeah, that's pretty much it, and I don't think it's a bad thing at all.
Ah yeah that sucks.. but why can't you see the last episodes? Hm. I did know how season 3 would end before I watched it too, was kinda hard to not know, when everyone was talking about it.
