So... Any Psych fans here? 😀 I recently started watching, and I LOVE it! So witty, and such enjoyable characters. Shawn is awesome. 🙂

Hope I'm not alone!

Ansotively! Awesome show!
lol Right here. Been one from the very beginning and I think it is the best thing to come to television in a long time. The theme song cracks me up and I ship shules. 🙂

I don't really 'ship anyone. I'm actually watching the show for the friendship, humor, and fun of solving cases. It's mind-boggling. 😀

The writers are ingenious, I am good at figuring who dun it on other programs but I am always stumped on Psych. I never fail to laugh in an episode and don't expect to and the friendship between Shawn and Gus is the best written ever. Gus is the straight as in serious one and Shawn is the funny one.

I love Psych! I'm actually a bit of a bad fan lol and I haven't followed the last season very well, but eh. It's still a great show. I especially love that so many of the episodes are stand alone-ish (but still executed well!), so you can just sit and watch without having to fuss over spoilers or watching the episodes in order.

I saw a few episodes on netflicks online. It was pretty funny. The premise is something more I would expect would be a movie rather than a show. I'm not sure I could go through 6 seasons with him pretending to be a psychic and no one ever knowing if he's just messing with them or not. I would think it would get tired after that many seasons. But from what I've seen so far it's pretty enjoyable.

Totally with you on this one. After watching shows that can be very intense (like Buffy, Angel, or Bones) I almost get giddy to watch Psych. I also think thats why Im addicted to Smallville. No intellect required.

I just started watching a few days ago. I'm on Extradition II: The Actual Extradition Part. I'm in love with this show! And seriously James Roday's line delivery reminds me of Zach Braff's in Scrubs WAY too much. Also sometimes his voice sounds like Zach too. I fell asleep during an episode (which I rewatched) a couple days ago and I woke up and was startled because I thought Zach was guest starring because James sounded JUST like him.

I don't think I have ever watched one episode of Psych where I didn't laugh so hard I almost fell on the floor.
How on earth did Zoà« manage to post in this thread before me? Shame on me. On the other hand I'm not sure she would watch the show if it wasn't for me and if that's true I can forgive myself.

What first drew me to the show was Dulé Hill but before I started watching intentially I came across an episode on tv and found it amusing. Still took me a while to follow the show closely. But that just meant that I had a lot of episodes to catch up on which I like. Sad the season is over and I sure hope they'll come back.

Not shipping anyone special. Not that kind of show. But Shuliet/Shules would of course be the obvious choice. Really hope we get to see Freddie Prince jr back on the show. Loved his character.

haha I win! Although you're right, I wouldn't have watched without you. I still win though!
What I like is how they have written the Shawn character He has matured personality wise but has remained Shawn and every once in awhile the Shawn you know and love from the first season comes out for just a minute.

For me what makes watching Psych different is that I really don't have a strong favorite character because I basically like all of the main ones. The characters have working chemistry and so do the actors and it just blends so nicely together. We all have bumped into characters like these so that I think is where the magic comes in.

The love story behind Shules is so pivotal to shawn's story because he has been trying to be the man that she needs to love. James Roday and Maggie Lawson have been a couple since the first season or close to that and that makes it all the better for me at least.
