Any wargamers in the house?

Just wondering if anybody likes to roll dice?

I'm a GW geek, love fantasy battles (SKAVEN,WOOD ELVES AND BRETS FTW) and enjoy some 40K (Eldar, templars and SoB)

What do you guys and dolls play?

I have to confess a slight passion for Heroclix. It's kind of like a complicated version of superhero chess, with the nerdieness dial turned up to 11. The gist of it is you collect miniatures of superheros from Marvel, DC, Street Fighter or Lord of the Rings and build your own super team. There's actually a lot of strategy involved. When you get a few people to play with, it's super fun (as are puns...).

I play a few board games Ticket to Ride, Lifeboat, Shadow Hunters etc and the closest I get to miniature gaming is Battlelore. There are folks out there who paint up the figures for it, but sadly I am not one of them. I have Infinity and a Haqqislam starter set for it, but have never got round to making them up and painting them. GW being such large scale warfare is just too expensive for me to get into, as much as I like the fluff and everything that goes with it.

Oh my god, Ticket to Ride. I absolutely love that game.
