Any Witches/Wiccans here???

Yeah, Andy has the same problem he can do healing for others but not on himself.

Pendulums are a good place to start, as you say they are so easy to use but like I said I have also found them to be bang on on everything I have asked. 😀 I never ask any questions that relate to money though as it won't answer anyway! 'lol'

I'd also like to learn how to cast runes too - we have a full set but haven't used them yet.🙂

There are still so many things that I want to learn about it's going to take the rest of my life! 'lol'
 
my step dad does the runes i think he wrote a book on them too...ive never been fully able to grasp them though..
im more of a natural...id rather not use tools to work unless its higher up stuff then its a nessecity(sp) although i do teach others how to use tools🙂
 
I started like a year ago.I can do some protective spells,work with candles and cummulate energy.But it's hard in Poland to find anyone interested in it and I can't afford to buy too many tools(my altar has to wait I guess).I would be grateful for any kind of advice....
 
foi: cool(about your stepdad and the runes) i think runes are cool!!(being rom a country where they have strong ooths and all, whe ahve about them in school even 😉)

ana8....unless you are following a strict religion you should be able to make your own alter..it really doesnot matter what it looks like etc as its the thoughts and energies that count..lol i use my wall mounted gas fire sometimes🙂 the most important thing in all this weither you are learning or not is to practise till you are stick of it and then some, your protection....this above all else is the most important...how can you help someone else is you have by whatever means let bad energy into your aura? you have to be able to look after yourself before being able to offer your self to other...in a marraige or partnership working its different as you look out for each other and guide each other while learning..hope this helps a bit🙂
 
Thanx Foi,but I've a bit of a problem-my mother .She was an atheist and now she's Catholic-she doesn't know I'm not a fully Catholic any more....
 
you have to look into stuff like essantial oils and herbs...
philters and stuff like that are VERY interesting.. and they are a great way to start off in the magicks...

if you are looking for great books.. look into Gerina Dunwich.. she is a great author!!
and for begginers (or anyone else really)
there is this book that is very interesting:
Wicca A to Z: A Modern Witch's Encyclopedia
(Library of the Mystic Arts)
by Gerina Dunwich

i personally own this book and tho now i know most of its content by heart.. i still go look for some words and theyre meanings here and there... its very practical during incantations and stuff, sometimes if you wanna look into the background of a ceratin goddess... its cool really. id say its a must for all practising neo-pagans! 🙂
