i think anya was really funny in chosen before they killed her wat i think they should not of done she really gud i know she was going anyway put that way they did dont think so.
she would really gud on ANGEL

wat do u lot think ??????????????????

Indeed, while Anya would've been a great addition to the Angel cast, Joss chose to kill her off in the finale, because Emma was the only cast member expressly against working on Angel and any other spinoff that may come of Buffy.

As it has been stated by others:

the death of Anya was a great way to end her character. This ex-demon tried forever to understand human ways and it showed a lot in her heart-wrenching speech in "The Body"...

and now... she is dead. She's spent a while trying to understand death--- and now it's all over for her. She finally understands. (Even though she's dead)

I wish she had stayed alive even though she wouldn't have done any spin off. I think its really sad that she was thinking about bunnies when she died. I loved that scene when andrew mentions bunnies.
Eliza had picked up her own series and said that she would do a spin off because of her series so why didn't Joss kill her too.

Anya was a great character and I think her departing was a great goodbye.....I wish she would have lived but im still happy that she died a hero ^_^

I'm with everyone else that, yeah it sucks that Anya was killed and just gone like that, but I have to say, that I liked the way Joss made the dialogue between Andrew and Xander about her in the end. I also hated the way how they killed her from behind, but Andrew made her a great heroic person when telling Xander. Yeah it was a crappy way to go, but saving anther person's life (as Andrew said she did) is an honorable way to have her go. I think that after 5 years of seeing her be this crazy, out there girl, who really didn't care for the human life, they made her this great fighter in the end and that is what I liked about it.

It brought Anya's character full circle--dying as a human while saving another human. If an exit had to be made it was a good one.

And if Caulfield has a change of heart about appearing on Angel, death in the Buffyverse isn't necessarily the end.

Emma is also the only cast member who really treats acting as a short-term thing. It's almost maddening that she's offered such a good part, and she kind of treats it as a bad or annoying thing. Like she doesn't want to act much longer. However, I adore Anya, and without Emma there would be no Anya.

I think that sucks that they killed anya! she would have been great on Angel.

well i'm sad about Anya but we can't move everyone to angel. buffy's over - everyone moving to Angel except buffy! that'd be dumb!

I love Anya... she was strange... but very very cool! She would have make a great adding to Angel... even if she didnt know him... they killed the wrong person... why anya... why not dawn? Or Andrew... or happily... Kennedy... i will been very happy, but why anya... on of the best people on buffy and they killed her! I will miss her...
