i was just thinking

anya's been completely absent from an episode three times this season... what's up with that? something wrong with her? sick?

or maybe they're writing her out so that they can give her like uber-screentime in the last few epps because of some importance she will have? i doubt that though because she's just human now.. and d'hoffryn is trying to kill her.

well now an then people need a break i guess. we didnt get Xand in a epi this season ether. to be honest i didnt realise Anya wasnt in the ep untill about 5-10 mins after the ep had finished!
 
I didn't realise at all, I guess they just didn't need her there!
 
it's not like she has actually done anything since "selfless", anyway. i enjoy her one line per episode though.
 
she's useless, plain and simple. As buffy said, What PURPOSE does she serve? She doesn't even give the "much needed sarcasm" because that's Xander. I appreciate her one-liners, but I find her a useless character, and I don't really miss her all that much.
 
thats so weird of joss to make a character useless... i'm getting a bad feeling that he'll kill her off *just because*
 
welll.. i think it's kinda vendetta

she's been talking crap about how the treat her differently on every single show/magazine she has appeared... and since day one of the season, she has been yelling how this is her last season....
 
she's been talking crap about the show? REALLY. bah. she's useless. If she gets killed, I'll be the least upset about it.
 
i missed anya a lot in this ep! she does provide SOME purpose. she knows a lot about demons, since she dated a lot of them, and she's so old. and she's funny too! not even because she's trying to, which makes it more funny. all those times she says the things that we are thinking, but it's totaly innapropriate and harsh, and xander has to remind her. and she can pick up a bat now and then and help out with the fighting. not useless!

I doubt that, I never heard about her throwing mud to the show. She just stated that she doesn't want to continue her role, well I can only respect that!
 
No. I think she will die proberly in the 3rd or 2nd episode before the end. This would be good motivation for the gang in battle. I just don't think Anya is needed anymore. She should of gone in at the end of season 6. She's out stayed her welcome.
