Anya fought well and I think maybe Andrew could have done something to prevent her death happening, but overall I dont blame him

I dont think it was his fault, they were both in mortal danger, she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and therefore she ended dead.

Giles organized the teams of two thing, putting the most powerful closest to the seal.

Buffy put Xander with Dawn, not as a battle tactic but more to protect Dawn.

Buffy definitely did not have to accept Giles' idea. Like I said I kind of blame Giles for what happened. Also, why are Xander and Dawn even fighting. Xander has one eye and was never a match for an ubervamp anyway, and Dawn, Buffy didn't want her to get killed, but in any lengthy fight Dawn couldn't have survived. Buffy knew that most of her team would die or at least she should have assumed so. If it wasn't for the cool Spike pendant thing Buffy's plan would have failed. I'm not saying that another plan could have succeeded, but it is interesting that the places where the ubervamps were about to break through were at Giles and Robin and Anya and Andrew all ordinary people and all key lines of defense.

If Buffy wanted to protect her friends instead of use them as temporary ubervamp blockades she should have sent Xander, Dawn, Anya, and Andrew away to organize her next line of defense with Angel in L.A. None of them are great fighters, but all of them are intellegent people with experience with demons. There are a lot of new slayers who need watchers and they are just the people to do the job.

No, It was defiantly not Andrew or Anya's fault that she died. In my opinion it was all Buffy, She chose to pair up Andrew and Anya together. When she knew Andrew was NOT a fighter, and neither was Anya for that matter. It was almost as if she WANTED them both to die, like when she was handing out weapons in another episode. She gave Andrew a useless bottle of holywater, when Uber-Vamps weren't even affected by HolyWater.

So in my opinion it was most defiantly NOT Andrews fault. It was Buffy's 😀
