i was just thinking how its wired that in 'The Wish' Anyas way of speach is normal to how it usually is in season 4 and onward seasons. she speeks just as welll as cordy not an obrupt word in place. why do you think that is? could it be that the writers was trying to pass her off as a human to fool us?

No. What i think the writers where trying to do with Anya was this:
The brought her in 'The Wish' she was trying to act normal, and everything, to hide the fact she was a Vengeance Demon.
The she returns in 'Doppelgangland' still acting like a human, though she had lost all her powers.
When she finally gets involved in the Scoobies and Xander, she is very literal, and its becuase shes trying to learn about the world and being a mortal. As we've seen in Selfless, (Season 7)
The way she is in season 4 - 7 is the way she is going to be for a very long time. She spent AT LEAST 1100 years as a Vengeance Demon, where she didnt have to shop, didnt have to really live like we do, but now she is human, she has nothing to fall back on, she does have to pay for things, and shes not as invincible as she was, i think its just her getting used to the world.

or it could just be that be that the writers never intended to make anya such a bit part of the show/a major player so when that occured to them they suddenly went, oh crap we cant just have her be all normal, we already have normal people

Funnily enough, I commented about Anya's speech to my husband the other week when we were watching 'The Wish' again, and I do agree with Lily, I think that at the time they probably hadn't intended for her to become a regular member of the cast, so they hadn't even thought of how she would speak etc.
Obviously once they'd determined that Anya would become a regular face they had to give her character more depth and show the viewers how out of touch with her humanity she was - hence her wearing her emotions on her sleeve so to speak, her lack of understanding of human traditions/values etc, and also the way in which she actually talks too.
In my opinion this was done to reiterate the fact that she was having to learn, almost like a child, how to behave in society and to accept the fact that she was now human again, something she hadn't been for such a long time. 🙂 It gave her character more credibility to have her behave like that, instead of just having her behave like everyone else.
