Anyone Doing NaNoWriMo this year?

I decided to take the plunge and do the National Novel Writing Month this year.

Anyone else doing it? My username is SJ666 (because I'm Satan) Feel free to buddy me 🙂 And we can complain about writers block and panic about the possibility of not making the word count 😛

I have done it in the past a few times but I'll be away the first week in November, so I'm not sure I can reach the goal in only three weeks. 😕

There are some famous books that were published after NaNo. I think the most famous is 'Water for Elephants' by Sara Gruen. It was made into a movie starring Reese Witherspoon & Robert Pattinson. 🙂

Yup, I'm doing it. I'm cryptwarmer over there. I did both Nano camps this year too. I write like a fiend anyway, and this is a cool way to meet other writers and talk shop.

Have you done it before? What genre do you write?

I've never done it before. Only discovered it a few days ago and decided to take part. I've got most of my prepping done. My novel is adventure mainly. Had a few stories I half assed started when I was in my late teens, so mixing all those up in there. I guess the thing it's closest to that I can think of is the Hunger Games.
I couldn't think of a title straight away so anyway it's called "Back Before Dawn" (Guess who's been watching season 4 of Buffy lately? 😛)
