Anyone else have a thing for musicals?

I have always loved music and theatre...so naturally the two combined is my heaven.

I was just wondering if anyone else really loves musicals?


(And yes, I did LOVE the Buffy Musical...Joss is offically the coolest man on earth)
 
I love the Nutcraker ballet. I saw that every year around Christmas time when I was a little kid.



I really love just about any and all musicals. I the first musical I ever really saw was Joesph and the Technicolor Dream Coat and I have been in love since.
 
Ballets rule when i was little i would be able to stand on my toes and all and i would do ballet with like a musical playing in the backround, never had ballet lessons either but knew how to do it!
 
Musicals are great! I've always been a fan as long as I can remember, and I am in a Musical almost every summer. Right now I'm Maria in the Sound of Music. They are so great, and feel good-y. I am so glad that movie musicals are coming back!

I wish I could be in musicals...sadly...I don't have that great of a singing voice. I can carry a tune, but it's doubtful I'll ever be in one.

One of my brothers was in his highschools performance of Oklahoma, I went and saw it. Thought it was sooo cool.
 
Really?? You are so lucky. My highschool does stuff like School House Rock Live *rolls eyes*

But hey, I ended up getting an A on my government one time because I remembered the entire preamble because of that Musical. And was the Assistant Stage Manager so it put me over so I lettered twice this last year. That was cool.

Education through music...it's a lovely thing.
 
I performed in a few musicals back in high school. Not to toot my own horn, but I have a strong soprano singing voice. I LOVE musicals with all my heart---I'm going to see Chicago on Broadway in July!
