I'm speechless.

But now that I think about it- I always wanted Eddie to live, I was sad when he died.
Also, didn't he have way more he and chemisty with Buffy than Riley ever did.
 
I would never have seen that, even though he appears to have aged well, it makes me feel very old to see him so much older than he was on Buffy...

The Freshman aired 14 1/2 years ago. And I remember watching it live.
I noticed this on imdb. . . I was like "Waaah?" and went to watch "The Freshman." right away. So different!!!!

Also . . . . I may be suffering from a small crush on Oberyn. Just as a little side note there. 🙂
 
Thanks for the tip, I would not have guessed this like ever. Pedro Pascal's performance in this arc was so stellar that I have no words (awww...) Now I wish we saw more of Eddie too - it was a tiny role but his instant-charisma trick worked even back then. I loved that character and was very upset when he died.
 
It was quite the episode, and quite the final scene. Loved the fight but man, that was about as brutal as they could possibly make it. I know they're following the books, but from a television perspective I'm starting to wonder if they're going to piss their fans off too much lol.

That's what I came away thinking too. While I was watching it I kept thinking, "This would never happen on a network show."
He is adored by fans, on another show he probably would have gotten a spin off.
 
Lol. Yeah. I haven't seen last night's episode yet but I have read the books so . . . Yeah. Even having read the books, I am not prepared.

You know what's tough is living with a guy that hasn't read the books so I can't say anything until it happens in the show. . . Though waiting for his reaction to the red wedding was interesting. Lol

I've read them too - they are taking a few things pretty far afield, not sure how they can reel them back in. Reaction to the Red Wedding was kinda fun, but nothing beat Jaime throwing Bran out the window.
 
Ah Oberyn. It really just doesn't pay gloat.

I thought he looked familiar - but surely not from that! He looks so different, in that ageing way that no one is immune to... Accept maybe Johnny Depp after a shave...
