anyone else notice this about the Dawn character?

i was curious to know if anyone else realized some similarities between the Dawn character and another character Michelle has played.

she played, when she was younger, a character in a movie called 'harriet the spy'. in the movie, she kept journals and more journals, talking about life and other people. much like her how character is first portrayed in buffy, prior to her finding out she is the key (in which she rips up all her journals, much like she did in the spy movie). has anyone else made that connection too?

I see what you are getting at, but i'm not sure it was an actual purpose led coincidence more that a journal is something alot of teen girls do, and the ripping up, again i've not seen Harriet the Spy, but i'm guessing the only similarity is torn paper.

If you look at Dawn, the whole thing fits because the Diaries are Chronicling her life, which in Blood Ties she is told is a complete lie.

So, while i see the connection of acts, i really don't think there is an actual connection or intended coincidence🙂

Yea ive seen harriot the spy and i guess its just a coincidence that both characters are really into the whole keeping a journal thing,and the fact that both characters tore their journals up,i guess its just a wierd coincidence.
