Anyone heard of a drug called Hydro?

I'm only asking cause I've never heard of it. My boyfriend's 17 year old daughter came home high last night and told me she had been smoking hydro. She begged me not to tell her dad and that she'd never do it again. I was tired and told her I wouldn't unless it happened again. I mean I know we can all make mistakes and do things we wouldn't normally do especially if we are under peer pressure. But I don't know what Hydro is and now I'm not so sure I shouldn't tell her dad.

It is to my limited understanding that Hydro....or Hawaiian Herbal Hydro, is supposed to be an alternative bud to marijuana.
I can't find anything definitive on it online. Perhaps you'll have better luck than I.

I found a site that sells it, and gives a little information on it....there were several, but this was the first one: Hawaiian Herbal Hydro. It seems to be like what OMIII said, a marijuana alternative......

I believe she probably smoked "Hydroponic Marijuana". At least here in Chicago, that is what we call "hydro". It is illegal, and it IS marijuana.

It is simply grown in a different manner, and gives you a "better" high.

Seeing that you are also from Illinois, I am going to assume that this is what she smoked.

Thanks you guys! Also thanks for the web site links! I feel better now knowing what it is. I figured it had to be something like marijuana. But since it has been several years since I tried any drugs and I choose now more than ever to be drug free cause of my son I am out of the loop on whats out there. I felt stupid because I didn't know what she was talking about. But I am also concerned because she came home high and I have a 5 month old son that she doesn't need to be around when she's high.
