Anyone Here Like Red Dwarf?

Red Dwarf is definatly one of the best shows (certinley the best comedy) to come out of England ever! In a time where England seems unable to provide a decent new show (I'm still getting nightmares of watching the entire first series of Strange in one sitting) its nice to be able to sit down and watch classic Red Dwarf on my DVD player. The Red Dwarf DVD's are FANTASTIC! The extras are amazing. They have the entire cast sit down and do a comentery for all the episodes (which due to the fact they are all comedians, is always worth listening to). I have series 1 and 2 on DVD. Just got series 3 yesterday but I haven't seen the etxras yet. Series 4 is out Feb 2004 and the new film will (after many delays) start filming in 2004 for a early 2005 release.

Absolutely, I love it! What can you even compare it to? Maybe "Hitchhiker's...", I don't know.

My favourite character is Toaster LOL.

It comes out in continuous reruns over here, every now and again. I watch it till I can't watch it any more, then I stop watching and it disappears, and I'm going "Where's the Dwarf. I need my Red Dwarf". It's like if they all of a sudden stopped rerunning Buffy.

That's such a great Andrew line lol.

I've never seen Red Dwarf except for an episode I've downloaded because Faldor got me to do it. I thought it was pretty funny even though I didn't understand some of the things because I ended up downloading an episode in the middle of the series. I plan on renting/buying some of the dvds sometime if I can find them anywhere.

Everyone seems to be focused on the movie right now. Everything is ready to start. Little things just turn up at the last minute and the film gets delayed. Hopefully they will finally start filming in 2004. Doug Naylor (co-creator of Red Dwarf) has said if the film is a success there will probably be a series 9.

I love Red Dwarf! 🙂 Nerd4Hire, I'm like you....when it's not on, I go through withdrawls. 🙂 So I got season 1 and 2 on dvd.
