I've heard a few people online mentioning having a lot Buffy fans in their town meet up to watch the show and stuff. I think it sounds really fun and was just curious if anyone here had ever done that?

I know Joan the Vampire Slayer used to be active in a local Meetup group. I don't know of anyone else.

Not really a group, but I hang out with people that I have watched the show to some degree. This one girl in my creative writing class chatted with me the one day about Tara

Where is a group of Buffy fans in Moscow. We used to meet once a month for several years. Last year we met less frequently, but still we had several Buffy parties. We rewatch old episodes and chat about actors and Joss.

Me, my sister and my best friend occasionally get drunk on a night out, and end up back at mine drinking whatever beer we've smuggled out the pub whilst watching OMWF and singing along.

Sadly, no.

It's always been something I have imagined though lol. Bit like a group meet up and then watching all of Buffy and Angel. I don't think any of my friends watch Buffy/Angel, in a way though i get to enjoy it more by myself at time.

Not a club or anything, but back in the days when I was a first year I kinda brought Buffy to my student house and dragged a few people into it. We (re)watched the entire show together 🙂 Two of my fellow former housemates even also ended up here on BB after I kinda pushed them to it 😛 But they're not active anymore...

I have to say, this group watching thing was always fun. Only sadly no one else ever really wanted to see Angel...

Well honestly I can understand that. I really don't like the first season of Angel. I find it very dull and the second season is only a bit better. S3-S5 are great, but those first two seasons can be painful so I'd understand not wanting to watch those as often as Buffy.

Well I could get one girl interested in s5 of Angel. It was a Spike thing, lol. Which was probably also why nobody wanted to watch the rest of Angel...no one really seemed to like Angel as a character, everyone was waaayyy on the Spike (and also Spuffy) side!

It's unofficial but the roommates I'll be living with in my new apartment are big Buffy fans, so I'm counting that. They named their cat Angel because he broods a lot.
