Anyone play wow?

Sorry...

Reaaally don´t like WOW xD So glittering, and impossible high levels >.<

I´m into Lineage II ^^

My PC can play all the MMO's probably, but i have sticked to WoW. Levelling alt is my weakest point however, i can't really bring myself to do that 🙁

Get some RAM!!

There are so great MMOs around...
People say good thing about Perfect World, but this one I can´s see, ´cause my pc can´t play xD

AGH! I can't wait for Diablo III.

I don't play MMORPGs mostly because they're addictive (and I have an addictive personality) and most people on the interwebs that play those games tend to be jerks and will kill you for no good reason when you just want to freaking play the game.

I know what you mean. Annoying as hell and diablo 3 should be awesome.

I used to play WoW, but I stopped playing before Burning Crusade came out 'cause I got addicted. And, even though I sometimes get the sudden urge to pick it back up, I know that, if I start again, I won't be able to stop. Back when I did play, though, I had a 60 Night Elf hunter on Dethecus.

blimey thats a lot of game time.

I played it for a while before BC and was a 60 druid on Destromath then i quit started up again when i broke my foot got to 70 then i sold my account for $100

Well, i play on Grim Batol..but i would recommend choosing bit better server (lately we have had ques, i hate those) and definetly better battlegroup than Misery if you on horde side 😛 Been in same guild pretty much from launch (2-3 months if want to precise), it is semi-hardcore raiding guild.

I used to play up until BC.
But my guild fell apart pre-BC and most of my friends either quit or transferred to other servers so my heart wasn't really into playing anymore.
I've tried to pick it up again once or twice with a friend or 2 but it's not the same, so I doubt I could ever properly go back.

On the other hand, I'm waiting for Star Trek Online - and I'm hoping it'll be somewhere as good as WoW was when I first started playing and got addicted ... 'cause if it is - I think I might have to say goodbye to studies! (good thing it's not coming out for ages!) 😀

I've got 2 lvl 70's (a mage and a rogue) and a 65 druid on one of the Euro servers - but currently my subscription is out and I've not got enough cash to renew right now which is a shame.

I'll probably not bother renewing again till Lich King comes out.

Yeah you gunna make one of your characters a deathknight or whatever they are called.

WoW is a little boring when you start a new, and by new I mean not your first ever character.

When it's your first ever character the whole game is fresh and new, there's so much so explore and do and the levels just shoot by. By the time you've gotten a character to any sort of half decent level (which in my opinion is 25+ when all the semi-decent items start to drop on a semi-regular basis) you should have at least a decent grounding of how the game works and where to go and what there is to do which makes levelling up a second character a little boring if I'm totally honest - but it does make it that much faster to get back up to 25+

Sticking with a character class and levelling it all the way to 70 without starting a new character is, believe it or not, not a hard thing to do - if you commit both the time and effort to get there.

It took me 10 days "game time" to level up my mage, but 14 days game time to level up my rogue to 70. Game time by the way, is the total time you've been logged into the game as a cumulative total.

Oh, by the way, if you haven't already, I'd suggest using Google and searching out some WoW addons - some of the addons available make the game THAT much easier - especially the quest helper, combat and class specific addons.

As for decent drops - as I say they start to drop at level 20, but I found that I didn't really get anything half decent (apart from buying it at the auction house) until level 25+. Some of the drops are fantastic - orange and purple in colour - the orange ones are really rare, there's only a handful of orange drops on each server and there's something like a 0.00001% chance of an orange item dropping, purples are rare too in comparison to oranges - there drop rate is 0.0001%!!!!! Saying that though, I've had 6 purple drops whilst playing WoW - and I've been playing since it was in Beta - and I know one or two people who've never had a purple drop.

All in all, I'd say give WoW another chance - at least a full month. But that doesn't mean play for two or three sessions per week, it's got to be five or six sessions per week for a good five or six hours per day (if you have the time and can handle it of course) - you have to give the game a chance to get interesting else you're never going to get into the situations where the "decent" stuff drops.
