Did anyone see 'House of Wax' while it was on the big screen? I want to buy a new horror movie in the spirit of Halloween to add to my other collection of 49. Oooohhh. If I get it I'll have 50! Anyway, it looks like it has potential on tv, but I know things on television can be edited to make it look better than it was. So did anyone see it? If so, how was it? I'm kinda of put off by the fact that Paris Hilton and Chad Michael Murray are leads...

I've seen a lot of horror movies, infact a lot of movies full stop.....: popcorn:
House of Wax - What can you say about that film.....hmmm how about.....cut your eyes out BEFORE watching it.
The movie was terrible, so bad, bad bad bad bad....i too was drawn in by the Promo's though the 'stars' did put me off, i still saw it....Hilton and Murray are not the worst thing(though they are bad) about the movie....it was just plain bad.....
I would rather recommend colonic irrigation with Freddy 'Bleeding' Kreuger as the nurse incharge...WITH claw!!!!!

What are the horror films you have, maybe people here with insight could give you better pointers on which ones to buy....:clap2:

Another the Exorcist even 2 and 3 are ok...NOT the recent tripe but the original ones, they are awesome.
I would also recommend Wishmaster, its a great movie, and the sequels are decent too.
Evil Dead, Shaun of the Dead, Candyman, and even House on Haunted Hill are ones you should look into.
Everyone i've mentioned areones i own and love....Shaun of the Dead...my Fave...its hilarious.

The Shining is one of the few scary movies I own, nice choice
Yes, I saw the last remake of House of wax..few days ago..it was quite boring most of the movie..until the end..when they killed everyone within 5 min of eachother lol..some of the scenes were pretty good..like when she got her lips glued together, finger cut off, and when her boyfriend's face began to peel off. The acting was really akward..and was almost if they were making it up as they went along...

I thought it was a pretty good movie, it was like The Chainsaw Massacre with wax but downplayed like 3 levels.

Yep, I saw that flick. Please don't waste your time with it. They should have named this travesty "House Of WACK". There are so many better films you can add to your Halloween roster.

yeah. Any film with Paris Hilton isn't gonna be good anyway. But what I do see as a shocking omission from your list, and a film(s) that any horror buff must have, are the Nightmare on Elm Street films. They are absolute classics!
