I'm just doing a re-watch of '24' - currently toward the end of the seventh season.

Has anyone seen this show?

Its got Kiefer Sutherland in it as the protagonist, with an excellent supporting cast for most of the seasons.

Its a really gripping, tense, action-packed, suspense-filled type of show that is well worth a watch.

I used to love 24, I watched the first two seasons religiously when they first aired, but I haven't seen it in years. I think it did suffer a bit from running too long, and some of the characters became redundant over time. But I remember really loving Seasons 1 and 2.

Seen them all except the newer ones. The one thing I remember the most is seriously wishing he had no daughter. Ugh. That was a horrible character and put in just unbelievable situations.

no joke, I kinda liked Kim, especially in the first couple of seasons.

The thing about 24 is that even in however many years time, it'll still retain that suspense and intrigue that a lot of shows don't have.

I've been *really* struggling with season five of Buffy for instance, just doesn't seem to age well at all, for me at least. *prepares to get hate*

First few seasons are when she was the most annoying!
24 blew me away when I was younger. I watched most of it for nearly a decade on television except live another day and legacy back in the day. Was one of the first tv dramas I saw from the beginning as it aired. It’s not the sort of show I’d ever want to rewatch, though, as I liked it more for the fast-driven plots and the 24-hour time gimmick rather than the characters.

to be honest, I think the more you watch it on re-watch, the more you grow to like and appreciate the characters. There's a lot of character development that you miss on first watch

Makes you wonder what they did in those days, as it was 24. (19 years ago) Nowadays, according to the TV its 48 hrs. Are modern police practises that crap?
