Well *Sighs* [😛] I was gonna ask if anyone watches Disney Channel, but even I don't like it much anymore, so that plan is out 😛

So, anyone watch Heroes? I've been watching it on BBC2, and after Buffy and Angel it's my favourite TV show, I'm only up to 'Homecoming' right now [And I was quite angry that that name was the name of a Buffy episode first 😛]

I'm watching it online at legal sites and i'm about two episodes ahead of you.

I'm loving it so far, its brilliant.

I'm not really 'digging' Peter. I've heard all this about how he is a great character, but I find he is over rated.

My Faves are Isaac, Hiro, Niki and HRG.

I like Claire and i'm kinda bored of Mohinder and Matt.

You should watch these shows online OBF.
 
I TRIED watching it on Tv-Links, but it went to slow, so I gave up on that plan.

Ah, Mohinder annoys me a lot, he doesn't even HAVE a power. I like Claire, Hiro && Niki best
 
I didnt like Peter either til I saw
"Five Years in the Future"
. Now I love him 🙂 CAnt wait for season 2.
 
Season two's going to be on the sci-fi channel in a few weeks/months, right?
 
no, as far as i can tell BBC2 bought the rights for 'Heroes' from the Sci-Fi channel. they'll be showing S2 as soon as they finish with S1.

i'm a big Peter fan. i think his character's great. but, like Wicked, it took me a while to jump on the Peter band wagon.

i also love Claire, Nathan, Nikki and Hiro...me and my cousin are desperatly waiting for S2!
 
I got into this show three days ago when I bought the season and saw it for the first time. I got into it instantly. Shoot, I finished the whole season already. My favorite character is Candice, the illusionist chick. Even though she wasn't a big part of the show, I liked her for some reason. Her power has got to be the best power on there. I hope she makes an appearance in season 2. A close second is Issac. He's really cool too. The whole paint the future thing is interesting.
 
I think Heroes is the best thing on TV at the moment. I was pleased to read a few days back that the BBC have bought exclusive rights for the UK for season 2 onwards, as I no longer get Sci-Fi (if I can find the article I'll post a link).

My favourite characters are Hiro & Ando, Niki/Jessica, Mr Bennet and Matt.

The power that I would like to have is either Hiro's or Peter's (when it is eventually fully revealed...damn those spoilers 😉) - actually, if you had Peter's power, would you need any others?
 
I watch Heroes, I'm not really a big fan though, some episodes are really good but I don't have any characters that I really care about and some of them just annoy me, or just bore me (Niki/jessica and Mohinder mostly). I did think it got more interesting towards the end of the last season, and I'm looking forward to seeing Kristen Bell there next season.
 
Heroes is most definitly my favorite show on TV right now...next to Supernatural.

I love Peter and Sylar. Matt is awesome too.

I CANNOT wait for season 2. I'm getting so anxious.

Premiere on NBC on September 24....

Heroes is pro'lly my favourite show on TV now too - though Buffy and Angel are better, and since I've only just started watching Angel on sci-fi, then does that count...? 😛
 
Never saw "Heroes" at ALL until last week, when I finally crumbled and bought the Season One DVDs. I am now completely, irrevocably hooked. Never thought any show other than "24" could grab a hold of me in that way.

Gotta say, I'm lovin' that Hiro dude. Yatta!! 😛

Hiro is cool 😛 I'm not used to reading subtitles though and I sometimes miss 'em 😛
 
I watch Heroes...I kept up with it during season one, and I bought the DVDs when it came out and I watched em all. I enjoy the show, but to be honest, I don't think it's even close to being the best show on television. It's fun to watch, but the dialogue is so cheesy sometimes, and overall the show runs in place storyline-wise way more than "Lost", so I find it amusing that people say the opposite is true. One thing I do like about the show is the cool special effects. The characters aren't all that fascinating though. Claire is definitely my favorite...not only is she hot, she has the most interesting storyline IMO. "Company Man" is the best episode of season one.

My least favorite characters are/were: Isaac, Matt (he just gets annoying after a while), D.L., Nathan (UGH!!)...at first I didn't like Peter but during the second half of the season and after rewatching the DVDs I liked him a lot more.

And this season...out of ALL the sci-fi/fantasy shows that will be on...I would rank Heroes near the bottom of the list as far as quality goes (but that's based on the pilots I've seen). Yet I'll still be watching season two and I have high hopes for it, I think it will work out the kinks, and Kristen Bell will be on it and she could make watching paint dry interesting.

I liked Peter from the beginning but I agree with you on Isaac, DL and Nathan.
I could go either way on Matt.
 
I just watched the episode where we learn who Claires Parents are(Distractions?) and I have to say, its probably my second favourite show, after 24.

I'm getting kinda bored with Claire, i'll be honest. The interesting thing in her story is her father(s).
Niki is still one of my favourites and up until this episode, I really liked D.L.
This episode, he was quite whiny. I hope this isn't how he will continue.
Peter is finally starting to get interesting, but thats thanks to the fantastic introduction of the Invisible Man(this character is brilliant).
Mohinder is still boring the pants off me.
Nathan, I actually really like(now with his twist). I definitely prefer him to his brother.
Matt I just don't get it. He just seems to regurgitate the same trite comments over and over again. I mean, he is a Police Officer, he has this ability that Clea Duvall's character(REALLY love her) knows about.
Why the hell doesn't he just go to his Chief and explain his powers. Sure she would be sceptical at first, but I tell you what she'd believe him after a while.
Things like that bug me, I hate the pointless covering of things.
Claire, I can understand. She's a teenager and doesn't want to be seen a 'freak'. Nathan is worried it will affect his run, but Matt has nothing to lose and EVERYTHING to gain - no wonder he hasn't made detective yet!!!

Sylar is a little 'meh' to be honest. I know he is this 'big bad' but he comes across as some slack jawed yokel and I don't get this impression its an act.

HRG is brilliant - nuff said.

I am also a little concerned about something, something i'm sure OBF will have seen by now.
Hiro from the Future on the train. He was very stern and not with the jokey.
I hope this doesn't mean they pull a 'Wesley' on him.
Don't get me wrong, I love Wes' character in Angel, but why must shows make the comic character beome so stern and lose most of what makes them funny.

Having said that, this episode was my favourite Hiro/Ando one so far.
These two have definitely become my favourites.
They are way ahead of everyone else.
I love the comedy that they bring to this show, they are the 'human' side of people with powers.
This is exactly what we would expect people to act like - it's genius.

Ohh and I forgot Isaac. I actually really like him. After the last few episodes, he is cool.
 
Matt I can take or leave but I guess he could grow if he dumps that bitch of a wife first and get some ooompth!
I like Hiro,Isaac, and Claire, but she is being under used at the moment!
I am curious about the Haitian, and HRG, I got up to the bit where he tells Isaac about Claire's real mum, I'd like to see a flash back and more info.
Yet to see Homecomming, but i was hooked from the first eppy.
I'm pleased BBC2 have the rights! So i can watch s2 aswell!
 
Homecoming is on tonight, yay. GMTV - I think it was - said this morning that it's the best episode, and it's on wooo I can't wait 😛
 
The official heroes website also has a free comic available in PDF format (they call them novels). They fill in some gaps and provide back stories to many of the minor characters.
