This episode was one of the season's BEST, until the F0NZIE WENT AIRBORNE in the final scene.

Team Angel vs. The Beast was my favorite scene, especially with Wesley back on the mission. The evolution of that character has been nothing short of AMAZING!

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, why isn't Alexis Denisof a bigger star or working more?

O.K. I just started watching the Buffyverse for the 1st time in May starting from the beginning. I'm now currently watching Buffy Season 7/Angel Season 4.

I just got done watching this episode hours ago. I want to give this episode a 10/10 and even maybe say this is the best episode of Angel in the series so far. But, this episode is ruined by Cordy doing it with Conner at the end. It is wrong for so many reasons. It's even worse when you consider how many times Cordy has been faced with apocolyptic events (from both Angel and Buffy).
I find it ridiculous that Cordelia has finally gotten her memory back and still went back to live with Connor.

I really wanted to see where the Angel/Cordelia relationship was gonna go?

Since this is your first time watching lets just say that you have to wait and see. 😛 Now this is teasing I know. But it'll be interesting to get to know what you think of it all when you're done with the show.
 
Best thing that happened was when Connor hooked up with Cordy; I loved it.
 
one of my favourite episodes, the fight was intense,Wesley and his guns ha!
 
Holy crap the fight scene in this was amazing. I still remember being completely jazzed when Wesley goes with them and has to save Gunn at the end.

I also still remember the vomitous feeling I got when Connor and Cordy did it. Sooooo gross, I was so upset about it I watched like 8 straight episodes in a row just to get past it. I felt I had to put as much mental and plotting space between it and I as quickly as possible.

I liked the sky falling stuff in this episode, and especially the Lilah dress up games. That was something very, well, good, although I didn't understand why Lilah was so into Wes.

I wonder if the Connor/Cordy thing would have been less gross if the actors actually matched the ages of their characters. I mean, Cordy's supposed to be in her early 20s during AtS season 4? (In Buffy season 1 she would have been 16ish, so 6 years later she'd be 22 or so, when Charisma was 32? That's what made it seem wrong to me. As beautiful as Charisma is, you could tell she was 30 (for her presence, not because of oldness looking). If she was still in her early 20s it wouldn't have seemed quite as icky. The ick-factor's still there due to the Angel/Cordy relationship, though.

And their sex scene was not very sexy at all, probably because Charisma herself was pregnant at the time, right?

Totally. TA got their asses kicked...It was great!! Wes was sooo awesome!


And connor and cordy....totally agree. It's not even the age difference. It's that she changed his diapers! I mean seriously. Ew.
 
The fight sequence at the end is without doubt one of the best I have ever seen, I remember watching it for the first time slack jawed and Wesley with the guns is iconic. Where the hell did he pull that shotgun from, though? Brilliant, what's not to love? Oh yeah, Cordy and Connor. Excuse me, going to be sick now.

I totally agree (which tends to happen a lot with you. Great minds think alike! LOL)... I LOVED the fight scene but was like "DAMN" that they still got their asses kicked. 🙁

I thought it was a relatively well written episode, knowing that a lot of things had to be changed last minute. Could maybe do without the creepy sex at the end though.

This was a Steven S. DeKnight episode, and he always has the best fight scenes. He would make a good action movie director. 😀
