Cast No Shadow
You are my world.
Hi guys!
Not sure where to post this, but I have some apologies to make, mainly to my gorgeous bb friends for not getting in contact for ages. The main ones are Seeing Red and Willow My Love.
The reasons are, basically, that I collapsed at work one day. At the time, it was quite amusing, because I was talking to a guest, then WHOOPS, down.
Then the thing was, I just couldn't get up, and the more I tried, the harder it was. It lasted around 50 mins, then my friend John that works with found me, and called an ambulance.
It turned out in the hospital that I have an insulin problem, but oh no, not me. It can't happen to me. Me, being the person I was, decided that it was completely wrong and unreasonable, and just reacted very, very badly to the diagnosis.
In fact, I ripped the drip out of my arm, and still very poorly, drove myself home (which yes, I realise now was risky to myself and others).
My friend John that works with me, then came to my house, and found me passed out in the bath (again, not embarrassing at all 😱 after having a hypo).
So now, with his and lots of other friends' help, I'm finally starting to deal with it. And after this long winded story, this is why I haven't been around for ages.
There you go!

Obv still have a problem with it, because I didn't actually put my diagnosis in there! I have type 1 diabetes, unfortunately.
