Well if you have the questions, I might have the answers...but you'll have to be part of my flock to get them! 😉

And if one of those questions is "can someone adopt me?" I'd be happy to! 🙂

That might just be something you say when the old adoptees are no longer active not something she specificly did. Just failed to keep them here. 😉 Not like that happens to anyone else of us... :tongue:

Well, you're not the only one. Both my adoptees skipped off somewhere ;]
And I am an unfaithful boarder. I can already assure you that I'll be in and out, but that I'm unlikely to permanently dissapear. I still post on the first forum I joined (in the previous century).
 
Well to be fair (to me 😛) all my charges got lives right round the time I got me a life last year...alas...I forgot to microchip them...(it's a Guild joke! I will not be microchipping....as far as the rest of you know 😛)

Yeah, those real life thingies, I've got one, too. They have a nasty habit of coming in the way of online fun. Ye know: Kids, work, husband, fresh air, cooking, sleep ... It all takes far too much time. Not to mention moderating and administering discussion boards. :sheep: I love my life, but wouldn't mind having a few more hours in the day.

Oh, it was pretty much technicalities, and when I actually bothered to click on "FAQ" that answered quite a few. :whistle: I could have asked you where the emerald city is, but I googled it. 🙂

But since you're there: Can you tell me what the general forum culture is regarding old threads. Is it a good or a bad thing to bump old threads up from three pages back and one and a half year's time to add the thoughts of a newbie?

Better to bump than to start a new thread. Old threads goes to the cemetary and those can´t be bumbed. But otherwise bump all you want. If you don´t count the comics the show stopped a long time ago but new fans keep on coming. They should be able to discusss their thoughts as well. Do a search to try and find the subject and if you find an open thread post in that. Otherwise just make a new one.

Isn´t the whole purpose of getting adopted that you get one person to turn to with your questions (vm, pm or chat)? The adoptive threads usually gets closed after the adopting is done. It´s not like they´re meant to be the adoptees own little thread.
 
I think the technically is that the paperwork hasn't been filed yet...miromurr isn't a part of my flock yet...maybe the mods think I'm an unfit parent?

/me starts to look worried.
