Hmm...it's actually very interesting to compare the two and the reaction to both...they aren't that different really.

Yes they are... in this joke people only got the joke played on them if they did something they weren't supposed to do. We were told to ignore the ban user link and we know we aren't supposed to ban people... and everyone who tried banned themselves. That is funny. Also, in this joke we didn't believe a member was being yelled at for no apparent reason.

It took me until the last post to be one hundred per cent sure I got the joke. I didn't realize the whole ban thing was a joke, I thought it was that Darla went to bed when the forum needed fixing. *facepalm*
But technically, in this one people - in theory - were banning other members for no reason. It was just behind closed doors, if you think about it...

I'm saying in theory - no one knows who all pressed the button and who they banned. Some could have been malicious...

I openly asked the member I atempted to ban if I could ban him and he said yes lol I wouldn't have done it if he hadn't said I could. :p
