I'm on vacation right now so I don't have a lot of time, but I wanted to give a head's up that when I'm back I'm going to be merging BB into After-Darkness. I have less time to spend on running the boards, and with vbulletin getting so expensive and the hosting problems, it just makes more sense I think to have one site. And with Dollhouse cancelled and the comics in decline, we don't really need to have such a big site, when Buffy and Angel fit in with AD's theme.

I'll post more when I'm back and can give a specific date, but I wanted to give some warning.

If that's really the case, that is unfortunate but definitely understandable. But it would SUCK to put all this hard work into the site and have to shut down a lot of parts of it. 🙁

After Darkness, right? Aw, gee, after 6 years I don't know how I'd feel signing into AD instead of BB. Will definitely be different if this isn't an April Fool's prank.

Since Buffy is now gone you have to wait to find that out.

I'm already a member on AD so this won't do much difference for me. Actually it helps since I'm not that active on AD but I will after the merging. So it'll work out fine. But I hope we somehow can take our dorms with us. I'd miss VH an awful lot.

Well if it happens I think it could be a briilliant idea.. Would open up art for other shows and topics of conversation would expand considerably 🙂 But then I like AD 🙂
 
I like AD, too.... I just don't watch any of the other shows there except Smallville. LOL I see the pros and cons of both sides, but I still think this is an April Fool's prank. LOL

Alexis Denisof. Umm, I mean, After-Darkness. It's a big boards with many series forums. :)
I suppose that it does make a certain amount of financial sense, considering the fact that Whedon has no current shows in production and the comic books aren't read by quite a few members here. That having been said, I, for one, would miss coming here. Sharing a forum with several other non-Whedon series, even if they happen to be ones that I watch and enjoy, just won't be the same.

How much does it cost to run something like this, anyway?

It costs quite a bit of money. But if Buffy's not kidding, and it really is getting expensive to keep up the board, maybe the ones of us who can could chip in some donations to try to keep the board open.
