This. And imo this 'prank' just ended up stirring more infighting and unrest which is a shame.

But then I've never been into April Fool 'jokes' much.

I connection wasn't made by me, it was made by some other poster who ranted about how it was her fault and that anti-Spuffies should be happy now.
She then went on to try and blame me for it - actually posted a screen-shot of me commenting on her arguing with the mod. It was sad.

You were clearly wronged

But I wasn't involved here and I have never argued back to a moderator. The poster was making derogatory comments about ALL Faith fans- which sounds like something you should be against since you've complained in the past about all Spike-fans being so broadly attacked in such a way.


Anyway, if the mods delete my post or tell me to cut it out I apologise to them and then stop, at least strongly attempt to stop, and succeed mostly. I certainly don't get confrontational with them like some.
So no, I've never argued with the mods that way- I just don't see the point since they run the site for the good of everyone. If they call me out then I was almost certainly doing something wrong and should stop. Simple.

You are a good member of this board, and have respect for the rules and the moderators. I am sure they recognize and value that.

Seriously, guys? Of COURSE this was April Fools! A Buffy board without Spike threads would be ridiculous!

That was actually kind of hilarious - but I suspect bactine and bandages will be next on the list of needed supplies. Does bactine even exist anymore?

Relief. Well, I admit I was half-buying into this, a couple of posters muddied the waters a bit for me.

But I'm glad/relieved that it was just a joke, there were a lot of really nice members who were threatening to leave and we don't want that. 🙂
Of course a couple of people showed their true colours, which is also interesting...

I'll go and tell @Iwearthecheese that she didn't actually blow up the boards. 😉

Feel free to use my username. My "true colors" are what I always have been, with the addition of having to be almost always up in arms because of what happened many times when expressing my opinions - and it happened, till yesterday (sorry @Iwearthecheese) only with you.

Poles and spikes are actually in the same family, just one has a sharp end and the other dull... still, I wouldn't poke a floater with a pole or a spike.
