Channel 4 did show season 1.
It used to be on at 6.00 on Fridays then moved to the same time on Tuesdays. Then the last six episodes were deemed too violent and adult for that time slot and so the show was moved to late night Sundays.

Channel Four won't be able to show Season Four until SKY finishes showing the season, so you're looking at a year at least, should they actually show season 3 at all!. Channel Four treated season one appallingly and Season two slightly better.
