So in the description for #38, an old enemy is about to resurface. Then Bill Willingham is planning to finish his run off (awesome), and at Comic-con it was revealed the title for #39 is the Wolf, the Ram and the Hart. so are the Senior Partners back? What do you think of Bill Willingham leaving his run on Angel?

That might be a perfect way to initiate a crossover between IDW's series and Dark Horse's. Angel was told in Season 5 that his Shanshu would be the result of him fighting on their side in THE apocalypse. If the Senior Partners were actually the controlling force behind Twilight, that might actually be Angel's "Get Out Of Jail Free" card for all of the death, destruction, and mayhem that he has caused in Season 8.

Finally someone responds. It would be a perfect explanation that the Senior Partners are behind "Twilight" but I guess we'll just have to wait and see

Sorry it took me so long, I just now saw the thread.

We're also going to have to wait 3 months or more after Season 8 ends for the 8 part Spike miniseries at IDW in order to learn exactly where Spike got his wonder mobile, who his crew is, and why he decided to turn up in Tibet just when Buffy and her crew needed him the most, unless the final episodes of Season 8 give it all away (which I'm sure the folks at IDW wouldn't want to happen)

I hate the idea of having to wait that long but it'll be worth it.
I am not reading the comics, but read the boards and something just popped into my head... not that I think much about the whole verse anymore as it is ruined by the comics, in my opinion.. but, do you recall it was said that the Black Thorn was the Senior Partners power on Earth? Yeah? Okay.. this is so obvious. Who is the only living Black Thorn member? Angel.
