Doesn't need to be your favorite character, but are there any character or characters that you connect with or sort of see yourself in? I'm not talking specifics (Don't think too many of us have slain vampires), just generally.

I can identify me into differently characters:

first, buffy because we have the same charactère, we are tonic, we are protectives persons....

Second, i can identify me into anya because she is a natural person, she's not shy, she loves laughing and having fun....

Third, i can identify me into alex because he is funny and has all the time jokes...

I'm a lot like Tara or maybe even Willow. Socially awkward like Tara and studious like Willow.

And sometimes I attempt to make jokes like Xander, even though no one thinks I'm funny. (Although I find Xander rather hilarious.)

I identify with Anya a lot. I'm a little socially retarded as I say what I think without using a brain to mouth filter a lot. Sometimes I don't realise that my brutal honesty may offend people. I've also been broken hearted in the same way that Anya was. The whole guy thinking he's doing the right thing by setting me free but not really thing resonates with me.

Well, I wouldn't call it identify but sometimes I really look up to Xander. He's always funny no matter how hard the times are. I love his character. Sometimes when I am in a bad mood I try to be more like him, more funnier! More active.

I can identify with several of them, which I think is what makes Joss such a good character writer in that there isn't just the one character that's identifiable.

Willow- socially awkward, academically minded and stubborn.
Anya- blunt, doesn't care much for social convention.
Spike- I identify with him the most. He's a misfit with a dry sense of humour and puts his own interests first and foremost, which I guess is like me a little bit. Plus we're both members of the nancy tribe 😛

i love alex it's a good character very funny, very friendly... 😉

Everyone has a lot of different characteristics in them which makes them who they are. As far as identifying those with characters from the Buffyverse, I'm a lot like Tara in the socially awkward sense, like Xander in that I try to brush off my insercurities with humour, also that I am a fiercely loyal friend, like Angel in that I try to live by a code of honour, like Giles in that I know quite a lot about quite a lot of things and like Anya in that I can be too honest for my own good.

Dawn - I am a whining brat XD Nah seriously I often feels like nobody understand or care about what I'm living. Also, I kinda feel like I don't belong with those around me.

Willow - Because I just LOVE school 😀

take advantage well because we fall fast in the world of the work!!!! 🙄

Faith, mostly because of her background and how messed up she was as a teenager.
Oh and I see myself in Angel whenever he sits engrossed in some book. 🙂

Very, very true. That's one of the great strengths of Buffy and Angel, that so many of the characters are special and easy to connect with.

Awesome responses as well. As for me, I always liked to think Angel with a bit of Wes but lately I've been thinking more and more like Buffy, the good and the bad.

I'm with the ever so awesome Jodast on this one. There are many characteristics which define who a person is. I actually see myself in almost every character, to be honest. But overall, I'm pretty sure I am Oz. Haha. We're both calm, cool, and collected people. We're both in bands. We're both laidback, and we tend not to let the little things get to us. If we're mad, then you'll know (although I've never thrown a pedestal across the room because my girlfriend was about to die, but you get my point. 😉). More importantly, we're both short! 😀

ah but she's fictionally brainy whereas you're actually brainy :)

Actually I think my personality fits rather well with Oz as well. I'm not in band though, going solo, lone wolf style... 🙂
I also tend to build up my anger for a long period of time, and then burst. I think it's kinda common for quiet people. Just like Oz, I'm kinda short on words, like if I can answer a question with a "yes" I'll do that rather than give a long answer which will lead to the same conclusion.

I don't generally identify with Xander, although I identified with him A LOT in "Reptile Boy" and in "Go Fish" whenever he got angry at rich good lookign guys who were priveleged with everything. Also, when around my friends I make quips like him a lot.

Even though I don't like his character I identified a lot with Xander in season 3. When everyone around him was getting accepted to college and he wasn't, I felt the same way in my last year of high school (I did get accepted in case anyone is wondering lol), and I wish that got more attention then it did

Wesley - He's always an outcast, even with friends he is still a bit separate from the rest of the group.
