I was just wondering....When can we say we made friends with someone????Can we be friends just by talking to each other and not seeing????What does a friend means exactly and is it different on these boards????In real life do you have to say/be said you made a friend to call him/her a friend????

A lot of questions,you don't have to answer all of them....
It got me thinking yesterday.....
 
Ive wondered that aswell,the real life question-ive never had to tell a friend thwey're a friend to make them a friend...i dunno bout on the boards though...hmmm
 
I dunno. I mean, my best friend I've known since kindergarden so I think of her as my sister over my b.f. But I think you can become friends with people on the boards. I've meet this one girl on another board, and we're always emailing eachother, and asking eachother advice like friends do.
 
yeah,i email a lot of people ive met on boards,and we always talk on msn..
 
Yep. Its cool until the person tracks you down and turns out to be a sphyco. I;m sorry, my parents raised me to believe everyone online is bad, and is looking to find and rape me. real nice eh?

I'd say most of us are friends on this board. If you can talk to someone, not fight with them, know something about them, and then have a few laughs. That qualfies as a friend to me.

plus don't any of you ever say to the teacher or something like 'My friends are bothering me'. But only kidding around? I do that all the time, cause we fake try to get each other in trouble.
 
Shell-I'm too shy to e-mail anyone first,but I would like to have contact with a few boardmembers.You must be outgoing person!!!!That's cool...
 
Thanks,yeah well I talk to them through pm's or msn first then i email them!
 
I'm a passive person more likely,but I might try to contact one or two board members in near future....
