Are women naturally lesbian?

Mythbusters staged a test to see if bigger breasts made for bigger tips in the food service industry. The results they came up with was going from a B-cup to a C-cup made no difference in tips but going up to a D-cup made for bigger tips. But wait - the increase was 30% for male customers but 40% for female customers. Does this mean that females appreciate big breasts more than males? Does this mean that females are naturally lesbian and only heterosexual enough to select a male partner for earning potential or cultural reasons?

A lot of women, even married women, spend a lot more time with other women than men spend with other men. And culturally, no one bats an eye at two women sharing accommodations whereas two men doing the same would arouse suspicion of being gay. There are a lot of lesbians on this board, no doubt due to the Tara and Willow matchup in Buffy. Perhaps the females on this board could come up with an answer.

This is PRICELESS!!!! And awesome... and since I'm one of those... well, bisexuals, I can't argue with the premise, now can i? Women are just awesome!! Giggles.
Woman are naturally sexy. Of course we're attracted to each other.

Boobs are fun regardless of sexuality.

PS I am obviously living in the wrong country. I am F cup - but we dont do tipping!

I forgive you for the mere F cup... lately I've been G, hovering around H at times... it's hard to be within the realm of normal size with huge tits. we need to stick together. :-)
I seriously doubt that women "appreciate" huge knockers as much as men. I hate to generalise (no I don't), but usually its the dudes who turn into slavering animals when a chick with big bazoombas walks by.

Don't get me wrong...we ladies do look, but usually its out of curiosity. Or to make snide remarks. (Meow!!)

I saw this episode when it was shown in the UK. I wondered at the time if it was partly down to the fact that by the really big erm inflation,
she had been working there for quite a few hours & had gained in confidence.....and I do think confidence makes people more attractive & not just in a sexual way.
Just a thought.

Also this was done in San Francisco which does have a big gay and lesbian community. I don't think women are naturally lesbians, we are more comfortable with each other, usually. But I think the bigger cup size may have gotten her more attention in general, thus more tips from women as well.

I'm lesbian, but if breast size affects the tips I give then I'm unaware of it.

But I will share an interesting observation. There's a Subway not far from where I live that I've used a few times for me and those I'm with. I told a male friend of mine that I preferred the men because they gave me more, and my theory was that the women assume I'm on some diet or as a woman I'm watching my weight (I obviously work out and people in the past assume that means I won't eat much despite that I have muscles--not bodybuilder thick, but noticeable, so they shouldn't think I restrict myself to salads, and besides that I usually get multiple sandwiches). He said it was the opposite for him, the women gave him more. So we did experiments and females regularly gave him more while men gave me more. This was barely apparent to us so that we used kitchen scales to make sure. I don't think it was conscious on their part. We both wanted to compare/contrast by getting served by gay men and women but haven't been able to that as far as we know (though this was years ago, I'd forgotten about it until now).

love your science experiment. Apparently I cant post to this thread, but I have noticed the same thing... women give me less food in cafeteria settings. Sometimes elderly women will give you an extra portion, but not young or middle aged women.
Don't some gay men have a boob thing too? Do gay men tip larger boobed women mOOre?

So, basically, you're saying that Buffy & Satsu 4EVER!!!!

Wrong thread? Or did I miss something?????
I don't think women are naturally lesbian, but I do think women can and will appreciate other women more than men appreciate other men. And by that I mean both personality, traits and looks. A guy might say his guy friend is funny, but here in the UK you're unlikely to hear a straight guy say his guy friend is good looking. Whereas with women, we can appreciate and admit it. I think other women are hot, and I'm not lesbian, but if I see an attractive woman at a party, I'll mention it. If my friend is looking particularly foxy, I'll tell her so. And if our waitress is really sweet and lovely, and happens to be hot, yeah I'll tip her more. If the service is rubbish though, it won't matter how hot she is..... 😛

We went to Hooters while we were in Vegas, not because my husband particularly wanted to go (he was just happy to eat wherever), but I wanted to see what it was like! 😀

When Lady Diana attended her first official engagement (as Charles' fiancee), she wore a black taffeta gown that showed a bit of her rather ample chest...and one of the male announcers whispered, "Now, that's a bosom built to burp a nation." A woman would never have said something like that.

The vast majority of males are fixated on breasts...women, not as much.

And what did you think? lol. I've been to Hooters twice, and once was in Panama. lol. Food's not that great, and the women aren't that hot, just in small outfits. lol.

No, women are not naturally lesbian. I do think that women are able to acknowledge another women's beauty (body) in a more sex positive way then men can about men.

Does this mean that females appreciate big breasts more than males?

It's more likely that they sympathize with the big busted women. Having large breast can be a pain in the ass. Sleeping and exercising can be uncomfortable even painful, it can cause back problems, finding clothing that supports you enough and looks good can be a chore, and men constantly stare.

yes, having big tits can be a pain... a literal pain. It is also very expensive - having G and H cups means that if you're not rich, you're always wearing the wrong size bra.

I agree. I think men can appreciate another man's appearance or attractiveness, like females can and do, but they have been conditioned by society not to express it. There's definitely more of a stigma attached to being seen as gay, if you are a straight man. But men who are comfortable enough within themselves to not be confined by society's standards are usually the ones who get the most women. David Bowie was a sex symbol to a lot of women. 😉

Totally.
Definitely empathetic towards the mutual big-boobers, and slightly jealous of the little-boobers.

I wasn't able to breast feed for as long as I had wanted when my little-un was a baby, which was disappointing, but mostly horrifically painful. I had a chest the size of Christina Hendricks at its worst. Big boobies are not fun.

Everytime I see any big boobed woman I am like "oh girl your back must be killin", "damn that's a good bra", "I hope your bf gives you lots of backrubs", etc.
