Are You An Early Riser Or A Late Sleeper?

Hmmm. I'm not quite sure. I have a tendency to stay up to the early hours of the morning. And I can definitely say I have never gone to bed before eleven.
And my waking hours tend to be around 9am, if I have a choice I mean. If I have to actually be somewhere for nine I force myself to get up earlier. But once I'm up I'm all over the place. My husband laughs at me because apparently I'm not in one room for more than thirty seconds.
So late sleeper, early riser? Hehe. In my teens I use to live on like three hours sleep and be fine. My friends thought I was completely insane.

I have sleep achmia, so sleep is difficult for me. I seldom fall asleep before midnight or 1am, and I'm usually awake again in at best 4 to 5 hours. I spend the rest of the night either reading, writing, or on the internet.

If I had a choice and wasn't a slave to my alarm clock I would probably sleep late. Which is funny because I prefer to get up early I just can't make myself do it. I love to be up before the kids and enjoy the early morning quiet but I'm too tired to do that in the morning. During the week I'm up at 6:45 to get the kids ready for school. On the weekends I tend to sleep in until 8am (sometimes my husband will let me sleep until 10).

I usually don't get to bed until midnight or later and I rarely fall right to sleep. I average about 5 hours of sleep a night.

Oh, that's quite an easy question - I'm unchangeable 'owl', no way of an Early Riser.
Everyday, waking up at 7:00 am - is a disaster!
I'd rather switch to working night shift, but that's not allowed in my office.. Alas.

I get up early for work, but I'd rather be sleeping late! Since I'm a night owl, the waking up early gets very trying.

What does 8am count as? Early or late? Maybe mid-morning?

There are three of us and one bathroom right now, and I'm all jobless and loserish these days, so I wait until My hubby and roommate are both done and out the door. Before that, I was an early riser. I woke up at 5:00am and started work at 6:00am. Even when I was in college, I used to wake up at 7:00am of my own volition.

I guess I wake mid-morning. I don't stay up late, either. 11:00pm is my bedtime, 10:00pm if I have to get up early.

I can't fall asleep before it's past midnight, and I find 10 - 12 am - is the best-sleeping time. College years with its lessons starting at 3:30 pm - ah, sweet beloved memories...

I'm an early riser out of necessity...but it takes me ages to get going. I sleep earlier than what I'd like to because of the having to get up early. If I had my way, I'd probably be in bed sometime after midnight and wake up in 7 hours time and still have at least an hour to get ready for work. lol.

I am SO not the morning person! I will work all night when I can. There is absolutely nothing about 7 am to 1 pm that I feel like doing.

But, I think it has more to do with productivity and my ADD. When I'm up during the day, I don't work. Things keep popping into my head. Places to go, gotta fix that railing...better run to Home Depot NOW. Perhaps it would be a good time to clean all the carpets or go buy 40 plastic tubs and reorganize the kid's rooms.

That doesn't happen so much at night. There's LOTS to watch on TV, the kids are asleep so I can't clean all the carpets and stores close...so unless I can bop to Walmart and pick it up and it's quiet enough to use in the middle of the night, there's no NEED to go out. Leaving me more "focusy" time to work.

The time between school getting out and bedtime is always full, so it's really just "work time" to deal with and I think that will ALWAYS be night time. I've tried it other ways and it just doesn't work.

Depends on the situation.

If it's work:my shift starts at 7am,so I'm up at 5. If not,I usually get up around 8am(I call it a night around 1am).

I couldnt belive it this morn, I slept in! (not working today slayergal!) until 11am! only work up coz my mobile rang. mind you I was out last night til 2 am so that probably has something to do wiith it haha.
