I'm an ENFJ, chaotic good, Enneagram 6, psychology junkie, amateur philosopher, and definitely more than "kinda" gay (Kinsey 5)

After years of being a die-hard fan, and trying to convince my loved ones to get on board, I found this site!
My biggest theory is that it's a show about mental illness, and as someone who has struggled with mental illness throughout my entire life, this show has helped me.
Apparently, I need to be adopted?? I think that would be great because I have a lot to say and talk about, but am deeply afraid of being slaughtered.

I'm Neutral Good (formerly Chaotic Good), though I think True Neutral might actually be the best to aspire to. I don't recognize in any meaningful way the other classifications you give (though I know a little about a couple).

I did have a philosophy phase, but I outgrew it. But it's impact on my thinking (and some of my posts) can still be detected.

The show helped me in a different way, and it's amazing how this show can appeal to (and help) people in so many ways which is why I suppose it's so popular to the point that 20 years later we're still talking about it, be it online or even in college classes.

Welcome. I never looked into the hidden meanings of BtVS much tbh. I don’t have a mental illness, but the show did help me to reflect on my past and move on and see things from a different perspective. Buffy Summers is one of the best characters ever.

I guess I should add that I'm lesbian...I drift between 70-95%. Physically speaking anyway. While I have been fond of guys that I dated and even had sex with when I was younger (just as I have been platonically), I have never fell head over heels for one, nor has one ever broken my heart as only a lover can.

Alright. Let's get to business.
Favorite character? Either Willow or Anya. I love Willow deeply while being both entertained and emotionally sympathetic to Anya. Both have fascinating story arcs. Their pain, resilience, and strength. Love them.
Couple? Willow/ Tara is the healthiest and Xander/Anya is the most realistic/relatable. Well...I guess I'd say both about both. Very 50/50. OMG and Spike/Dru. Love them with a passion. It's hard to pick a favorite. I don't know how to compare such different relationships.
Season? I used to think it was season 2, but I'm realizing that season 2 has my favorite EPISODES, but isn't my favorite all around. SEASON 6 is my all time favorite. I could survive watching only that season for the rest of my life.
Episode? Becoming part 2 and Restless
Did I watch Angel too? OF COURSE. I'm going through Angel again right now. I haven't really gone through angel much because season 4 broke me. But watching through it again, it's affecting me much stronger than before and I'm in heaven.
Favorite character? Angel followed by Cordy
Couple? None? I think Joss was really pushing the idea that love doesn't last in this show. None of the relationships are favorites, but relationships aren't really the point.
Season? Two. Hands down. Though I really liked the Jasmine plot and all the questions it brought up.
Episode? I Will Remember You and Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been. Since I'm running through it, I might change my mind, but these are the two I've watched the most.

It's hard to pick favorites. I think I'd need more specific questions. Like the funniest _______, most painful, most relatable, _____ that makes me sick, _____ that makes me think.

I have a hard time answering what's my favorite because it tends to depend on my mood, and/or how it (like characters or eps) interact with others. I can say I watched Angel, and in some ways I like it better than Buffy, but not in all ways (and Buffy is easier to find a single episode to watch while that's much harder on Angel).

Maybe after I've thought about this awhile I'll come back and add something more.

I have no idea which types I am though, and I guess I'm a fellow LGBTer (don't know how to be more precise than that yet).

I'd love to hear more about that, and if you like shows that depict mental illness realistically I strongly suggest Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. It's in my top 2 (with Buffy obviously).
