This is for those who use an invisible status here on the boards. Why? Or if you dont, why not?

I don't fancy being a Marcia. I am proud to be a member here and when I'm online I like everyone to know about it! I don't see why you would appear invisible.
 
Why does the time(s) I am online and your ability to see I am online and what I am reading/responding to matter? It really doesn't; hence invisibility.
 
I could care less whether or not people see me as online or offline. 🙂

Me and Im assuming by his comment, Scobro. A while ago, if I was seen on BB I would be immediately contacted on messenger and I didnt always care for that. Now I just dont think about changing it.

I don't see why it would matter if people choose to be invisible sometimes, that's why its an option.

I'm always visible. Well a good 90% of the time at least. The other 10% is when I'm feeling a little blue and don't want to be too chatty so I just browse the boards and log off. But it's very rare.
 
The only time I ever used the inviso-option is when I took a few weeks of time-out from here and checked up invisibly twice a week or so if I'd have missed a PM or anything.

Normally, I'm absolutely fine with you peeps seeing that I'm browsing the forum. 🙂
 
I was invisible for, like, a year... And then I took it off. And then I put it back on. Why?

I enjoy being ambiguous? 😛 I don't really see any reason to be visible.

It still happens but rarely. When we had the visitor messages it didn't take me long before I used it. Once people saw that I was online I got a few and since I'm not the fastest in typing I could spend a good two plus hours just chatting and having no time to read and write posts. The burden of being very popular. Those were the days. 😉 So I went invisable. As I said I still go invisable at rare times. It's pretty stupid but I like lurking around, especially if I don't feel too well.
 
There's a way even for us mortal ones to see all the ones being online, invisable or not. Although not seeing what they're doing.
 
I didnt even no you could appear invisible and like some people said i dont no why you would want to lol but each to there own
