Are you now, or have you ever been a cheerleader?

Well, have you???If so, what is some of your fave cheers?This topic my be alot weird, but hey!I am just wondering....Were you popular as a cheerleader?It's okay!If you say yes, you wont sound like a bragger...I just wanna know...Sorry if this seems lame....

I was a cheerleader in junior high. The only reason I did that is because it was the closest thing to gymnastics and we didnt have a gymnastics team in middle school. We did a lot of stunting and that was fun. But it was probably different from high school cheer. I dont think being a cheerleader makes you popular. A lot of people think that, but the cheerleaders at my high school get made fun of cause their not that great...it's kind of funny. I go to a private school and not many cheerleaders have football player boyfriends, they football players usually go out with the volleyball players. It's probably different at public schools. I just think it's funny because growing up, it seems like every little girl wants to be a cheerleader so they can date football players and be popular and tall, skinny, and blonde. But it's really not totally like that.

tell me about it.People say that you have to be skinny rich and pretty in order to be a cheerleader...But I may be skinny....But im not rich or popular...Being a cheerleader is fun...In movies like bring it on, and stuff...They made cheerleaders seem like b*tches....But the ones at my school are nice to everyone...They may not like everyone but they talk to them, invite them to parties, and dont spill milk all over the brainy people...And cheerleding doesnt make you popular....It is usually money, looks..Or being nice...Because if you think about it if you are nice to everyone they will all like you and you will be popular...If you are popular yet snotty, you dont have any real friends...But hey...Thats just how i look at it...

By the way, i dont really have a fave cheer....They are all awesome
 
you know I wouldn't mind a hot cheerleader with money being nice to me.

All the cheerleaders at my school are ***ches.

skinny doesn't matter...but then again being overweight might not make you the best at it. See the delemia?
 
Zander i think every guy would prefur a skinny blonde cheerleader being nicer then nice to him the a fat red head chess club girl...Lmao...
 
I am a cheerleader....I am popular in school...I'm not really rich...But that has nothing to do with it...The outfit was only 39$ and the shoes were 43 $....But you guys, i think you are wrong..Being a cheerleader DOES infact make you popular...I was never popular, until i tried out for the squad....Now that i am a cheerleader, i am popular...My twin sister Chasity isnt...But she also isnt a cheer queen!I hope i am captain here in the near future!

my faves cheers are in spanish(i'm from argentina)and in english sound more stupid than in the original language,belive me,they do...
 
Being a cheerleader does not make you popular....I cant be captain eather...i am only 16...But maybe you are lieing, or something else made you popular...Or maybe your school is incredibaly shallow!
 
i'm popular,but maybe isn't cuz i'm cheerleader...dunno why it is...not all the cheerleaders my school are popular...
 
I'm not popular....But its early in the year yet...Maybe there is hope for me....I hang with the preppy girls, but im not one of them....
 
I'm not a cheerleader, nor will I ever be, never even met one. In fact, our whole-country is cheerleader-free! Isn't that a bliss, I can't help but thinking of cheerleader as the popular biatches, blonde hair, cup F, with less brain then a shrimp. Seen too many movies I guess.
 
lol...i'd be a cheerleader if i never had to cheer at a game...just went to practice and grabbed ass all afternoon long...lol...

sometimes...the threat of violence can screw up the best laid plans...
 
I'm not a cheerleader.We have bout 5 teams in the whole country.But even if there was a team in my school I'm not thin enough,I don't wear skirts,I'm not v.good at gymnastics.The one thing that is good is that I'm blonde...

Yea...I am thinkin WAY to many movies...Maybe some are b*tches, but not all...I do have a b*tchey side to me, on a bad day....But usually I'm nice....but i am dumb!I will give ya credit for that one!
 
I dated a cheerleader. It didnt last that long, but we're really good friends still. And I make fun of her for being a cheerleader back then.
 
in norway we DON'T have chreeleaders in schools, then again we don't have that many school teams, and the onese we have we don't know abaout!!!

but Ameican football is getting bigger in NOr that is: weacually HAVE some teams now, and we have some cheerleaders, but their grown up!

this one time in this camp thing i went to one summer with an org called NATURE AND YOUTH and there we had cheerleading as a work camp... my brother cosin fred and i went, it was fun...
