And I'm a Scorpio with supernatural tendencies, sticking pointy wet objects into people is fun. I'm a Buffy type person, if Buffy liked to use a wet Mr. Pointy.
I regret not being more vengeful. Perhaps I'll change that for the future.
 
I'm too lazy for revenge.
It's so much easier, and less work, to pretend that things never happened instead. 🙂

For what it's worth, my just going cold and icing them out (so they're dead to me) seems to upset more people than genuine revenge would. An ex was especially upset by this reaction from me, and I'm sure she'd have preferred violence than how dead she was to me with only cold disdain for her that did not even acknowledge her existence anymore than I was forced to. My guess is because revenge shows you still care.

Given some of the creative pranks I've come up with (as well as a shady understanding of the legal system) it's surely a damn good thing I'm not as vengeful as my mother was (including for my mom--funny, she was so quick to take revenge, but often seemed comically surprised when someone took revenge against her, and I've seen her beat at her own game). That's not to say I've never taken revenge, but it was petty or trivial as it was rare (most of it in my teens), and not really worth mentioning.
 
I'm more vengeful than @Amber Bunny Slippers . She ignored my precious advices on how to take revenge on her neighbors and ended up making friends with them. That was the first confirmation of my goody two shoes theory.

Yeah you definitely could but I just don't have time for that! Vengeance is so time consumming - Crying in despair, plotting the revenge, preparing in full Rocky montage, making you think you are my friend and then boom! make all your worst dreams come true!
 
It poured down with rain here last week, I felt so angry at Gwenraiden and Bluebird, cos as is stated in England, it rains up in Scotland.
That would have saved my garden from going down tthe hill.
If Bluebird or Gwennie Poohs feel vengeful about the post they should blame Amber Bunny Slippers for making me think of this.

Well it hasn't rained here at all for weeks on end so it has to go somewhere, and that was above your head.

In general, I'm not vengeful. I am a very angry person, unfortunately, so I do get the red mist a lot and adrenaline rushes, but logic tells me not to react. If people weren't so anger inducing, I wouldn't have these problems. 😡
 
Sometimes I think if i got to ride at the para-olympics it would be my greatest revenge.

But you need LOTs of money for that. LOTS. Povo para gets ya no where.

Maybe in an extreme case I would seek revenge, but I would see it as an obligation, an obligation to repay a wrong, and I would do it with a clear state of mind, and not allow it to do harm to myself. With a clear conscience and with a clear state of mind is essential I think. Like Nietzsche said: "who ever fights monsters should see to it that one does not become a monster in the process". That's an excellent perspective to have (and that quote has interesting and immediate relevance to Angel in S3-S4). The quote finishes: "and when you look into an abyss, the abyss looks into you". In other words, the self tends to turn in upon itself when you think hard upon yourself, like a snake eating its tail, and can often bring about nihilism and self-undermining. The quote also has a metaphysical implication, but I'll leave it to everyone else to consider on their own.
