Hi guys,

Will the rules ever change to allow non whedon related works to be posted in a users thread? Simply because i feel the section will be much more active if we allow that. I know that i dont spend all my time making buffy/angel sigs and it'd be great to post my own stuff as well.

As far as I'm aware, there's no plans to change the rules anytime soon, no. We generally try to keep the forums as on-topic as we can, since we are a Buffy/Angel themed board. When everything's on topic, it means that (almost) all of our members will have a general understanding of the subject matter being discussed/posted and can comment on it. When you start to stray too off-topic, you also start to limit the number of people who can take part in a discussion-- which is really something that we try to stay away from. We'll keep the suggestion in mind, but again it's not a rule that I can see changing anytime soon. 🙂

Also if any of your work is general Supernatural TV shows theamed, there is our sister site After-Darkness, were you can discuss various other TV shows, it also has a Art forum but allows for a broader range of TV shows!

I understand why we can't post anything but Whedonverse art but I do wish there was a branch of the forum
that would allow us to post non-Whedonverse stuff. 🙂 I have a lot of Twilight art that a bunch of
folks here would love, as well as some Smallville art. 😉

I understand what you are saying, but this has got nothing really to do with any discussion. The art forum is just for showcasing talents (which there is alot of on this board might i say) and even if people dont understand the subject matter or whatever they can still appreciate it.

I understand why you guys are saying to keep it btvs/angel related as it is a btvs/angel forum, but allowing for something like this to be changed imo would just be a positive for everyone.

As AS said, this is a Buffy/Angel board and art will be kept on topic for the foreseeable future. Our resources are limited enough as it is, so I'm not really looking to expand off topic things.
