.......or glow dimly in a sea of all the other extreamly talented people on this board, lol.
I finally downloaded GIMP about 2 days ago. I wasnt going to start a thread, but after some very lovely encouragment from the people around here that I have already shown I decided I would (thanks guys! ILY!)

These are all rather simple and just me playing around with all the settings, hopefully as time goes on I will get better at it.

So here are my very first efforts at banner making. Id love to here your opinions and ofcourse some tips from the more advanced and talented people on the board is welcome also! 🙂

I love love love them! They show a lot of promise as well.

Keep on making them. I like the cordelia one in particular I think.

2 days?!! We do have some very talented people on here. And I´m not one of them. 😉 The only small "complaint" I have is that I have a little trouble reading the first words on the Drusilla one. But other than that tiny detail they´re great.

What you lack (for the moment) in skill at using the program, you more than make up for with an eye for composition. Skill you can learn, but that's pretty much innate. The positioning of the pictures is excellent, and everything is very balanced. I like them a lot. The colour in the second one is really nice. Very well done!
