On a later epsiode of BtVS. It's called "First Date", Ep. 7x14. Just thought I'd get that out there🙂
 
That is so cool. Ashanti is a well talented R'n'B artist, can't wait for it to be shown in the UK.
 
As a r&b nutcase, i do not think she is a good r&b artist or princess as ja rule likes to say. Don't have much respect for her work, shes just a nice little vocalist for murder inc. Her album is... rather uninspiring and dull to be honest. I love R&B, its my fave but to me shes not that good at all. Couldnt give one if she was in buffy or not.
 
I feel the same way, I just never really under stood her title... and plus Aaliyah is and always will be the R&B Princess...

Yeah, and Aaliyah could actually act. She had style and a flow. I miss her; wish she could have starred on Buffy. Although, Ashanti does have some okay songs, but I'm not so sure about her acting...
 
ugh. personally, i don't mind her doing her cameo thing.. but on buffy?! she just doesn't match, in my opinion. maybe i'm just not into seeing ANY singer act. there's probably some exeptions here and there, but sorry.. my gut instinct is to draw the line for ashanti.

we'll see if she can turn my opinion around..🙄
 
Well, you have to think....they originally wanted Britney Spears for the role, so theirs an upside to everything🙂😀🙂

O please no, Eminem is a great artist, but there is just something about him, that's wrong ... can't really explain ... but no, I don't want him on B/A!
 
Unforuntately it would appear that Ashanti in addition to not being able to sing (my opinion..), REALLY can't act. I thought that her performance on Buffy was just trash. She really just didn't fit.
 
I really just thought her acting seemed very forced and stiff. It could have something to do with hating her music though too! 😀
 
I really didn't get the chance to see that show. I'm not a big fan of Ashanti, but thought maybe she could act better than she could sing. I would rather see her though than Britney Spears.
 
I love Aaliyah and I am a big fan of Ashanti, I don't think the show needed any guest stars so i don't agree there but i will have to wait to see First Date before i can judge on Ashanti's acting skills. What Ep Number is it? I think we are on 13 this week in the UK, The Killer In Me.
 
You're in luck it's next for you guys, although I say again you're not missing much. 😀 I honestly think Britney Spears could have done a better job.
