ASIF! she didnt go to the Wrap Up Party! i was just thinking why didnt she is the main character! i heard something to do that shed gone straight to The Scooby Doo set still you think she make time to go to a party for a show shes been in for 7Years! how ruuuddee! that has really changed my views about SMG! 🙁

I also thought that was kinda rude. I mean, the show is called Buffy and she couldnt even make it to the wrap party where shes the main character?? Even Seth Green was there and hes filming SD2 too!!

SMG is so f***ing rude! Who does she think she is?! She should have been in the wrap party, because she was the main character of the show! Just because she now a full - pledged movie star doesn't mean she has to be a snob!

I agree she should have made an appearance at the wrap party, she was the main character of a great show for 7 years, for her not to show up was just kinda selfish. She may have more important things going on in her life, but Buffy was important too, and she should have been there.

she so should have been there. i heard there is some disliking of her from Seth Green. and during last week of filming 'Chosen', smg was braggingh about all her offers since quitting. i think it is a loud of crap.
Hmmm well being new and all...I don't want to ruffle any feathers..but I have read extensively on this subject so here's my take on it.
I read that article..it was in a trash mag...it's from the Star Tabloid, if I find the link I will post it.
Anyways on to my point...Sarah got lots of flack from castmates because apparently they found out that they were out of jobs from an article in EW which interviewed Sarah. Allyson Hannigan in particular made references to finding out this way in a recent article in FHM. As far as I'm concerned...NOT Sarah's responsibility to tell them. It was Joss'. And just because Sarah left the show does NOT mean that the show wouldn't continue. There was much talk about either a spin-off..or a new slayer coming in and taking over. In fact, over this season's eps...they were totally setting up for a new slayer with all of the Potentials, and the return of Faith. So Sarah didn't cause them to be out of work..nor did she do them a disservice by not running to them and telling them. For all we know..Joss could have said to her "look I'm not sure about the future of the show without you..can we keep this quiet until I decide."
As for the wrap party...Sarah was in Vancouver filming Scooby Doo Too..which has her pretty tied up. AND, they had a farewell luncheon for all castmembers and crew...at which time Sarah gave them all leather bound books of some sort. (Everyone, even crew members).
I have heard so many nice things about her..people who have met her and have shown me pics of them with her..that I just don't believe anything an unidentified "INSIDER" says ...notice how nobody is named? It's always an "insider" or "source." Names already!!!
I lived in Vancouver for 2 years when I was a teenager, and I saw how many hours movie sets would have streets etc. blocked off for filming. Sometimes it's just impossible to get away from a busy schedule like that.
I'm not saying that it wasn't rude to not show...but maybe between the various crew members and Sarah's busy schedule, they couldn't get a time where they could all be available..and if more people were available on a certain date, then they would have to go with that date. I think it's nice that they didn't just work around what people have dubbed the "star" of the show. This shows that each and every castmember contributed to the show's success.
In closing..I'm sure if Sarah had wanted to, she could have said "sorry that day doesn't work for me, do it THIS day" (which might not have been good for a lot of the other castmembers. But she didn't.

Tabloids write lies and half-truths, and profit due to the fact that they gain much more money from subscriptions than they lose to lawsuits. I mean, they get sued all the time. Constantly. Basically, when people post the latest Buffy slander, they don't need to really bother with the latest tabloid URL. They could just type it as if they thought it up themselves- it amounts to the same thing. It's like quoting that guy you know who always lies all the time..

I read some stuff too. I guess in one sense of course this kind of stuff is going to all start coming out - typical b/c a popular show is ending and all. I read one article (it's here ) and it really actually made me disappointed b/c I love SMG as an actress. It could be totally bs. It could be true. I mean look at all the stuff about Shannen Doherty - she was a real diva like bitch on 90201 and she is one of SMG's best friends. Not that that means anything! I'm just pointing it out - from experience you tend to be like your friends in some ways sometimes...
Anyway, I just really always thought that SMG would be someone that stayed down to earth. I hope that this stuff isn't true but if it is I guess I can still be a fan of her work, just maybe not her ethics about it...

I know that. Please note in my msg I said that it could be bs. I'm totally aware that Tabloids are garbage. That was only one of the articles I read. I mean Alyson did make it clear that she was not happy that SMG didn't even discuss her final decision with the cast before anouncing it publicly - I think in terms of respect for those who have worked so hard beside her I can understand where Hannigan is coming from.
Like I said before. I don't know if it's true! Do we ever really know if anything we read is true? I believe that media will twist the truth to sell. But in SOME cases, there is truth behind what they write. Who really knows...

Can I just qickly give my opinion. People are saying like she could have goten the time of work on Scooby2 but it's not exactly up to SMG is it.
Before filming on a new project like Scooby2 starts there is a release date set and the studio incl. director has to keep a tight schedule to meet that deadline so a schooting schedule is worked out before shoocting starts. Now that means that Sarah as effectivly an employee has to work when they tell her to work.
I'm sure she would have loved to go to the party if she could have but if she was working then tough luck.
We can't all take time off work just because we wanna go to a party. In many ways her job isn't much different from ours (apart from the pay maybe hihi).
Takes a lot of work from everyone to make a movie. and they only get a certain amount of time.

I agree to an extent, that Sarah should've been there, but we don't know the full details of why she couldn't be there. Maybe she was legally binded by contract for SD2 to be filming on the night of the party, so who knows.
