the thread that poses legal questions to our exchange wolfram and hart employees...thanx doc for the idea...

i have a question...why is it that judges wear black robes...

lol..i remember in history class...the illest teacher ever showed this old colonial movie with this minister that wore a black robe...and that movie showed an indian couple making frog sex...lol....that class was cool..

Back on topic they wear them so they wont get reconised in public so it sorta hides what they look like.
 
lol...you wouldn't believe the surpirse i held...it wasn't like a bad porno or anything...didn't even show skin...maybe a boob...not that sure...but just to show something like that is pretty damn cool..
 
Back on topic; over here judges don't wear black robes; they can be purple or red, or plain clothes, depending on the court. It's the barristers who wear the black robes, a mark of formality in mourning for Queen Anne 😀
 
Eh not silly wigs; each Inn of Court has its own specific wig; look closely at barristers and you'll find wigs are different, due to which Inn you belong to, and sometimes, your status. Judges wear wigs, but these are different again. 🙂
 
we saw shindlers list (sp?) lots of naked people in that movie....I cried that movie was sad 🙁

lol but here they ware black, blue, white robes, it dont have to be black exactly, but no wigs...not that i know of. ^_^
