Well here it is...the first of Uncle Pointy and Aunty Lyri's surprises.

Thanks to Lyri's magnificent efforts Buffy Season 8 comics artist Georges Jeanty has kindly agreed to do a Q&A for us 🙂

Obviously a Q&A requires questions...so that's where you come in. Please post your questions for Georges in this thread and the staff will choose what we think are the best ten or so to forward to him for his replies.

Please try to be original and respectful...if you come up with something interesting or a new angle it will have more chance of being selected.

Thanks again are due to the lovely Lyri for the work she has done on this.

Get questioning...

Ok..
Hope this is 'original' enough for you

How has it been working on season 8 so far, and has it challenged you artistically in some ways?

Question -

What's your favourite character to draw?

I have two questions, if that's alright. 🙂

Question #1:
How has your work on Buffy compared to your other experiences?

Question #2:
Are you familiar with Joss' other projects such as Angel, Firefly, and now Dollhouse? If so, do you think you would be interested in drawing for the Angel or Serenity comics if you were given the opportunity?

How do you think the comics compare to the show, in terms of quality and in terms of direction, style etc.?

Is there anything, you personally, would like to see happen in Season 8?

On one of the new preview pages for issue #27, there's an image where Oz is in his cage and the girl (Bay?) has just brought him a cup of tea and sat down next to the cage. Oz's background is darkness, like the night sky, and the girl's background is an image of the rising sun. Was that deliberate symbolism, or just an interesting coincidence?

I've heard you mention that the hardest character for you to 'get down' was Dawn, but who was the easiest?

Are there any BtVS characters that haven't shown up yet that you're hoping will make an appearance?

How do you go about drawing each scene? What is your process?

Who is Twilight? (Think he'll answer this one? lol)

regarding the Twilight question...it's worth a try
Hi Georges.
Who are your favourite artists (comics and otherwise) and why?

Hey Georges,
Do you get to be involved at the story at all, would you ever want to be more involved of the story?

Were you given specific instructions on how to draw twilight, the main bit we've seen so far is a chin and you've had us comparing it to every chin you've drawn for the comic!?

BUUUUMMMP!
Lyri has come back home and has agreed to crack on with this Q&A...let's see if we can find out who Twilight really is...like Georges is gonna tell us 🙂

I've just received a reply from Georges telling me that he's ready for me to send him the questions whenever we are.

So, like I said in the Keith thread, I'm going to gather all the questions together today and send them to him this evening, so anymore questions we could send would be awesome.

Or (in the case you can't give a direct answer)...

From your presentation of Twilight, is it safe to say Twilight is male, white, square-jawed, clean-shaven to the lip, at least 6 foot, and is not also any of the characters we've seen him with (meaning there's only one).

Is the use of a different font by the letterer when Twilight speaks, a clue?

Are the writers' insinuations Twilight has personal knowledge of Buffy's character a clue?

Are you free to answer what issue the actual reveal will take place? Can you hint?
